5 /5 Matthew: Cooter Stew is a must try if in the St. Marks area. Excellent French fries, make the trip alone worth it! Great burgers with a good sear and crust with excellent varieties. The loaded potato salad is a creamy baked potato with all the fixings. Get this potato salad! Hotdogs, slaw dogs and a grilled cheese is available for the picky eaters. It’s not fast food. Seating is largely outside.

5 /5 X C: Small rustic restaurant, serves the best food in St Marks and in about 15 Miles around. Burgers are amazing with caramelice onions even better. Sourkraut is made in house it makes my mouth melt when I think about it. Since is the best restaurant in town it can get busy at lunch; so patience to get your meal served is required and worth it.

5 /5 Jerry K: We had just visited River side 3 weeks ago and decided to come back and try Cooter Stew. I agree the burgers were great, we tried a chicken wrap and a shrimp wrap and both were great. The French fries were hot and crispy. We enjoyed our meal before heading out to fish.
