5 /5 Timothy J Rivera: On our trip home from Orlando, we decided to visit Lake Okeechobee, and stop by Clewiston to have some Mexican food at Taqueria Jalapeños. When we got inside, we were offered some caldo de frijoles. Absolutely delicious. There was nice chunks of chorizo and lots of frijoles inside. Then we ordered. I got tacos maíz de carne asada, alpastor, carnitas and barbacoa. I also got horchata. There is a buffet bar with all the normal toppings authentic to Mexico and some delicious salsas INCLUDING Salsa Morita!! The food was all delicious. The tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere felt welcoming and fun where people get to hang out and have fun. If I ever came here again, I’d stop here in a heartbeat! Until next time folks! Enjoy the meal!!!!

5 /5 Garcia-Obregon Sherwin (sherwino): Still enjoying the heavenly habanero hot sauce, it was so fresh and legitimately spicy. Its right next to US-27 near the center of the town. When you get there you order at the cashier, and the waitresses greet you with a nice sampling of soup. Loved everything about this place.

Located across from Popeyes, this spot is easy to find and feels like a true local gem with both indoor and outdoor seating. Theres a counter for grabbing drinks and garnishes to customize your meal. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere is laid-back and casual.
