5 /5 Jonathan Mcknight: I stopped by Stoney’s BBQ in Fort Pierce, Florida early this morning, and I’m so glad I did. This was their first day serving breakfast, and you can tell the team really put care into every detail. The restaurant was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming — the kind of local spot that immediately feels like home.
I ordered the chicken and waffles and a breakfast plate with eggs, toast, grits, and sausage. Everything came out fast, hot, and incredibly fresh. The waffles had the perfect crisp edges, the chicken was golden and seasoned perfectly, and the grits were smooth and buttery. You can tell everything was made to order, not sitting under a warmer.
The staff was friendly and attentive, checking in and making sure everything was right before I could even scroll Facebook. Service like that really stands out. I’ll definitely be going back, especially to try more of the menu and see how the lunch crowd feels once word gets around town.
