1 /5 Jennifer Palmer: My first thought as I walked in was that it looked like a fun place to eat. It was packed with people and had a live band performing in another room. The server greeted us immediately. However, the experience changed when I noticed other guests being upset because their food was taking so long. Then I noticed our food was taking forever, too. Our server stood there at a table next to us, talking to those guests for 15 minutes without ever so much as looking our direction. When I got her attention, she just looked at me and said our food was coming up soon. Then she went back to chatting again. She told us multiple times that our food was coming. 1 hour later, I told her we were about to walk out. She begged us to wait. Another half hour passed. We were getting up when she said our food was being plated. When we got our food, it was NOT what we ordered. We were so hungry, we were going to eat it any way. However, the deviled crab was absolutely disgusting. It has the texture of canned cat food and dog vomit. The taste was so horrid that I spit it out. (The shrimp was good, though.) We finally talked to the manager but still left the restaurant with heartburn and anger. There were 2 other tables that walked out plus another who stayed like us but were disappointed.

5 /5 Wayne Harrell: Great service and great food. Salad was good as always. Mullet, shrimp, hush puppies, and cheese grits were excellent. Baked potato was good and hot!

1 /5 Mike Perry: I went here for a business dinner and I cant think of anything positive to say. Theyre wasnt very many people there when we arrived, but it took over an hour for us to get our food. The server wasnt attentive at all, we had to ask another server to take our order. They were out of almost all the sides and 4 or 5 of the entrees. Once the food got there it wasnt good. I ordered fried scallops and shrimp and received blackened. The scallops were hard as a rock and not edible and the shrimp were burnt. Everybody else at the table had similar experiences. I would definitely not recommend, there are many much better options in the area

5 /5 Tesha Williams: First time here. My experience was phenomenal not only was the staff friendly and helpful but also the people. There was a band named “Jet city“ that made our dine in even BETTER. Our food was delicious, one photo is the pick 2 with catfish & shrimp, the other is a catfish plate($16.99). I love that their hush puppies are included already with the meal and that they is pretty big. My catfish was fried to perfection not so soggy but with crisp and well seasoned. I don’t eat tartar sauce really but it was good as well.

5 /5 Expandacraft Modular Boats: Okay, so im a bit biased because the owners are good friend, but there is a reason the place has such a regular clientele. Im there every Thursday for karaoke and will grab a hamburger or grilled fish. However, their specialty is fried foods, and even though you can get fried food all over this area, theirs gets hight marks from the locals. I However, cant eat fried food anymore after a surgery took that off my menue. The staff are friendly folks who care about the reputation of the place, and it has a family run feel to it. This is not a place to get drunk and show your butt like you were in some cowboy bar, its a family friendly place, and disorderly types will be shown the door. Parking is plenty, the place is nice and clean, but in peak hours, you may wait a while to be served. Most times service is fairly quick. Be sure to check the schedule of live music, lots of bands play the smallish bar area, and it may get a bit laud, but at least its indoors so weather isnt an issue like some places around here.
