James If you own a Mercedes, new or old, and are tired of having your wallet emptied on repairs or tired of getting the run around on whats really wrong with your car, this is the place to take your car. I was first referred, quietly, by a salesman at Mercedes Gainesville, but I didnt have faith in him or the mechanics after many trips for the same problems. In 2017, a neighbor referred me to Star Imports--confirmation! Im so glad I took a chance and I wont use anyone else, because Josh & the other techs know their stuff. Do your research, but I think youll be pleased using Star Imports for your Benz. They do it all. Call and ask. Donna

Adrian Campos The guys at star import are top notch and the pricing is fair. There’s no lack of customer service skills here, these are the nicest dudes you’ll run into for a while. They worked on my oversized overlanding sprinter and even though it turned into a nightmare job and went longer than anticipated they didn’t charge me for the extra hours. I was shocked. At any other mechanic it would be expected for the bill to get racked up. I can’t say a bad thing about them. Bunch of honest cool dudes.

Princess Jones Mr. Touch Up rescued and restored my vehicles paint color beautifully to the preferred color after being painted incorrectly with shoddy body work done by another body shop. Mr. Touch Up does excellent work and I recommend him if you want the job done right,

Walter Lawrence did excellent work on my minivan. The door he painted looks like new and matches the rest of the vehicle perfectly. I am extremely satisfied.

Kevin Thompson I dont understand why someone would leave a negative review because this shop wouldnt work on their particular model of vehicle. You should be happy they are honest about their specialization. Ive been working with Jeff and Matthew for years and theyve been GREAT. Top pros and always attentive to my bottom line. Id sell my second car and buy another Audi just to keep these guys in the family. Ive recommended Jeffs German Auto to friends and they couldnt be happier.

Sean Lizzie I was having some issues with my car that Volkswagen of Gainesville could not explain after 3 attempts to find the problem. I took it to Werkshop49 with jeff and within a couple hours had the issue completely resolved. He also quoted me a water pump and thermostat replacement on my car and told me it would need it sooner then later and sure enough with in a week it started to leak pretty intensely. So I brought the car in and had that issue resolved as well at a vastly cheaper price then what the dealer would have charged me. I also had a severe stumble at idle issue with the car that he was also able to have diagnosed with in a couple hours and had my car running like new. I highly recommend Jeff and the guys at Werkshop49.

Ed D Auto ER on 6th Street deserves all five stars and more. I was approaching my scheduled maintenance but had a 10-hour roadtrip home. I called to schedule a AAA pre-trip inspection and that got me in the next morning. Bill is friendly and professional and the tech provided a detailed report with a recommendation (with photo) to change the air filter. No hard sell! Definitely give this business a call the next time you need service.

Bennie Nelson Nick at Bills towing service was the best at the wreck I had on us 441. He was very helpful as he helped everyone there providing extra duck tape and being fast with getting the damaged car out of the scene. Nick was very polite and provided comfort in handling my car. Bills towing service was fast and reliable

Brianne Lehan I came across Billys after a number of issues at other shops and then came this recommendation. I will never use another mechanic again! My engine was having serious trouble and I was having difficulty getting answers. Billys fit me in to diagnose the issue and was able to get the dealership parts my car needed to do the repair. It was a multifaceted problem that took some time to fix and Billy and his team made it happen. I was also very appreciative in how thorough Billy was explaining the problem each step of the way, talking me through the options, and giving fantastic advice. Him and his team even found and fixed one of the symptoms I had forgotten to mention when I brought it in. So impressed! Ive been incredibly thrilled and thankful every day to have a smooth running car!!

Nicole Washburn I’ve never met a more HONEST or compassionate team of mechanics in my life. After years of being overcharged and misled by different mechanics, I was terrified when my car broke down. I had it towed to the dealership who quoted me over $11,000 and said I needed a new engine (a 2020 vehicle I’ve owned for a year). I took a leap of faith and had it towed here — and it was the best decision I could’ve made. They told me my engine was perfectly fine and fixed the issue for literally a quarter of the cost and in about a week. Today, I drove my car home with tears in my eyes. I took my car to ford I have a ford explorer and they wanted to charge me almost 6500.00 I called around and on contact they were super nice and very knowledgeable about everything with my car. He provided a quote and was very reasonable. T B I recently had my Mercedes Benz GLE 350 repaired at Automotive Super Sports Inc., and I couldnt be happier with the experience! Initially, I was a bit nervous about getting an estimate, but the team made the process incredibly smooth and reassuring. They quickly put my mind at ease, explaining that they handle similar projects all the time. The turnaround time was impressively quick, and when I picked up my Benz, it looked better than new! I was especially touched by how they went out of their way to return it to me cleaner than I had left it. It’s clear that they take care in the work. I’m so pleased with their service that I’m planning to take my daughter’s car in for repairs next. They’ve also done an amazing job on my husband’s F-250 after it was rear-ended, and it looks brand new as well. We went through insurance for his truck, while I self-paid for my Benz, and I found their prices to be better than fair. I left my car quickly before they changed their mind. Ebonae Needed my ignition coil and sparks plugs done. Was quoted at Advance tire services 1500 . Mr. Isaac and Charlie at Old School garage took care of me. Save us about 600 dollars. Barrera Arlo The worst place to get a car ever. The service is unprofessional and unreliable. I have less than a year with my car and so many issues have come up and they have put me through the wringer not helping at all. How can my car pass inspection when all of a sudden brakes are extremely rusty and wires are torn up. I am disgusted with myself even trusting them.

Douglas Green I had two services with Auto ER. In the first appointment, they figured out what was making an odd noise in my car and fixed it. And in the second visit, they installed new tires. Both times, it was quick, professional service and reasonable prices. I have also recommended them to a coworker.

Dale Stone I have brought my vehicle to auto er on several occasions to have maintenance work done, and a couple of times for repairs or a new tire. What I appreciate with auto er is the communication with what they are planning to do, and what they recommend, considering things I may not be aware of. They ask my permission before they perform anything extra. They also have a link to a website where they upload pictures and descriptions of every system of your vehicle that they check on. I feel like my vehicles and my needs are being taken care of in a prompt and professional manner. Thank you very much to Logan and his fellow office and mechanic crew for performing their duties and going further to look out for my safety.

Janet Bellamy I went to see this guy from a recommendation and Im sure he does very good work if you can get past the crappy attitude he has. Personally I want to feel comfortable with the person working on my vehicle. He gave me the impression that my vehicle wasnt good enough for his time. Maybe I just caught him in a bad mood but I certainly wont go back. First impressions mean a lot there Mr Alignment guy and you made me feel like your not very nice. If you dont like what you do find another career.

Beau Knows Multifamily This guy knows his sh_t. He is an artist when it comes to performance alignment and he takes pride in what he does. He got my camber dialed in and the next autocross race with my proper wheel and tire set up I finished the highest I ever have.

Jonathan Evans Steve is great, so are his guys George and JD. I trust them over everyone else with my wife’s and my Toyotas. Lots of knowledge here, and they don’t try and empty your pockets for no reason. They use high quality parts and fluids only, and are very reasonably priced. 10/10 recommend

Rocío Armada I went in because one of the terminal ends of my car was really oxidized and I couldn’t fix it myself. The person that helped me was really attentive and took care of the issue in less than 10 minutes. Service, efficiency and quality. 100% recommended!

Hasan Al-Shaikh Excellent service and reliability. My Honda had engine lights on due to some transmission sensor issue. I took it to two other shops, sank like 500 bucks and yet none of them could actually service the issue. I finally went here and they solved it with minimum fuss. If you have a transmission problem, I cannot recommend a better shop in GNV

YaShanti Fields Ive gone to Performance Transmission for a couple of years now and they always provide great service. Theyre honest, competent, and kind. I appreciate that they have a Honda specialist and I plan to continue going to them until Im no longer in Gainesville, highly recommend!

Matt DeWitt I bought this 2012 Mini up in Jacksonville from a private party and it showed service due, so I made an appointment online (which was so easy) and brought it in. They took their time to go over the whole car, fixed what needed it based on what I asked for, gave me reasonable recommendations for future service, and provided a comfortable place for me to wait. I will definitely be back for all of my service needs. Thank you!

Jim Meany Incredible level of service and technical expertise at a very fair price. I had my 2016 Chevrolet Colorado in for the dreaded "electric power steering cutout at all speeds." Carrsmith accurately diagnosed that the problem was not related to the torque sensor connectors, which were good. The torque sensor itself was bad, necessitating replacement of the entire steering rack. Carrsmith keeps you apprised every step of the project via email/text. The cost was less than what GM would have charged me. AND they washed my truck and even added tire protectant (tire shine) before returning it! I highly recommend Carrsmith for any suspension/steering issues. Jim M.
