Zack Moss This guy not knowledgeable of fixing cars he look at Utube to fix people cars and he is very rude. I wouldn’t trust him and if I can’ give him below one star, I would.. I took my car to him and I told him what the dash was reading He start scratching his head and didn’t bother to look at it. He started searching Utube to figure out the problem. He’s not A Real mechanic..

Theo Chenet Honest mechanic 4.5 stars (leaving a 4 felt wrong to me). I have an old Toyota truck with 250,000 miles on it and do most of the work myself but every few years I like to have someone else check things out. I know a lot about cars and can sniff out dishonesty. The work he told me that needed to be done all checked out as legitimate. My rack and pinion was replaced because of leaks. He tightened my wheel bearing spindle after noticing a bit of play on one of my wheels and added a quart of transmission fluid after noticing slow shifts. He did this without piling on a bunch of unnecessary work and charged fair. There was one issue with the rack and pinion repair that he took ownership of and fixed it immediately the following day. While the repair did require me to go back to the shop I value honesty above all else in mechanics.

Josh Dobeck An absolute gentleman... Pricing was sensational. Communication was exceptional. I couldnt ask for anything more or better from a mechanic, My daughter lives in Pensacola. I live in Seattle, Washington. My daughter called me with an issue with her car. I went ahead and researched mechanics throughout the Pensacola area, including looking at the reviews and Jeff popped out with sensational reviews, I called the man, he answered my questions. Got my daughters car in as soon as possible. Was up front about his pricing. He kept the communication with everything regarding the car. The billing was concise and everything was fair. It was probably one of the easier things Ive done in my life was to hire this gentleman to fix my daughters car.. The depth of knowledge and as concise as he was I wont send her anywhere else Carvery automotive its like family to us now, thank you Jeff, the owner and the mechanic for being there for us

Antonio Bruni It’s like having a family member own a mechanic shop. They treat you fair and do an amazing job. I take both my trucks there. Brakes, AC, alternators, you name it they can do anything. Amazing!!

A Alvarez My son brought the car in for an A/C issue. While the air is now cooler (better than warm), it’s still not ice cold. They said the system was overfilled, yet still proceeded with a full evacuation, recharge, and added UV dye for $198. That raised some questions: Was all of that really necessary if there wasn’t an actual leak? And why was verbal approval needed for something that could’ve just been corrected? They also performed a “free inspection” without asking, then used it to try upselling other services. They flagged the serpentine belt which I already knew was old and had a replacement ready but there was no actual urgent concern. They also said a tail light bulb needed replacement, but we later found it was a wiring issue, not the bulb. While the staff was polite and applied a small discount due to the “misunderstanding,” it was still more expensive than other local shops offering the same service. If you have money to spare, maybe it won’t bother you. But for those trying to be careful especially if you’re sending someone younger or less experienced, I hope this review helps you approach with caution. Update: Wow, after 5 days, the AC stopped working again just back to blowing warm air. You say the issue was “fixed,” but five days later the A/C is back to blowing warm air. That’s not a fix, that’s a $198 band-aid. Never coming back here.

Tristan Harper I brought an old diesel truck in a while ago. They fixed several issues and were very reasonable. Communication was excellent. I was impressed when they recommended not pursuing hours of diagnostic time to fix the non-critical electrical issue. Well be taking all our vehicles here.

Jason Isbell This is one of the most honest garages I have ever dealt with. They do great work and they do it quickly. The owners are extremely nice and very knowledgeable. I’ve had two of my cars worked on by Jeff, one for the alternator and one for the a/c and rear bearings. I will use them in the future without hesitation. Great garage!

Jannis Very knowledgeable and competent people work here and most services or tools are free to use or a minimum charge. I mostly come here to use the Glass bead blaster to clean car parts from my current restoration project. I go here on a regular basis and enjoy chats with other enthusiasts! Military affiliation required to get on base and enjoy the hobby shop!

Marcos rodriguez Fantastic customer service. Victor Rodriguez was very knowledgeable. Along with helping me, Victor was seen helping young sailors and Marines on their vehicles. Highly recommend.

Brad Giddens The office manager, Jen was so nice and the staff was friendly too. They diagnosed and fixed my Impala quickly and for a more than fair price. I am definitely coming back

Vesha Dixon I WOULD NEVERRR RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO THIS SHOP !! Very unprofessional !! They messed up my car and had to get me a new motor, my car sat at their shop for 4 MONTHSSS ! We sympathizes with them but it was excuse after excuse! They said they got me a new motor and got me a trashy motor after them having my car for 4 months and I get it back and the car runs worse than when they got it !! It cuts off, stalls and skips at take off after they claimed they got me a new motor ! Let’s not mention he asked us to pay money on before we got it for something THEY DID AND OWED TO ME ! All together we paid them $2,000 for absolute nothing !!! The owner got smart mouthed with my mom because she told them they were wrong and she was taking legal action ! You will not prosper at MR. FIX IT with the way yall just handled us and played in our face !!!

Dorothy Bredesen When catastrophe strikes, these are the people who can bring me back to peace of mind. I love my Yukon and I wouldnt trust her in any other hands if I have to go into a shop with an issue. I know when I go into the office, Im going to be met with professionals who are all knowledgeable in this field. It doesnt hurt to have "a guy" for pretty much any category in the old Rolodex (figuratively speaking) if you get what I mean. They most definitely have that. Joji Yoshida When we relocated to Pensacola both of our vehicles were being shipped from Hawaii. In the meantime we researched a repair shop on the Gulf Coast. Luckily we found Gary Sapp Automotive on Pine Forest Road. Dolly and Doug were extremely helpful to us newcomers. Since our arrival of our cars we had several minor and major repairs done. The pricing were upfront with no hidden charges. The repairs were done in a very reasonable timeframe. We feel very fortunate to have found an amazing place in our neighborhood.

Killswi7ch ST Ill tell you what, I was off roading out in Blackwater and somehow got a large roofing nail in my tire. I did an emergency plug and drove straight to Firestone on Davis (where I bought my tires). Got in, fixed for free with road hazard, and got me out in no time. The Manager Byron is a great fella. Pleasant to work with. Will conduct more business with this store!!!

Dave Fitzpatrick Went there with my cammed Charger. Clearly the guy was incompetent or was trying to sell me parts I didn’t need. All I needed was an alignment and I left with an off centered steering wheel and a more unstable and unsafe vehicle than before. I have a 6 year old I drive in my car. Thanks to the guys at TMS in Mobile, I’m getting the issue fixed. No thanks to the guys at Firestone on N Davis. Plus one of their techs was recklessly driving my car when he went to take it for a joyride before the botchy alignment job. I paid good money for the lifetime alignment that will never be utilizing anymore. Y’all lost a lifelong customer

D S Be aware! I took my truck to this place to have my idle speed adjusted, I already knew what was wrong with the truck because I scanned it. Get a call for from the owner say that he diagnosed the truck and it came back to be a dirty mas flow sensor. Which I already knew thats not true because the mas flow sensor is brand new. Also lie and said that the vibration that the idle speed created was also fix from him cleaning the mas flow sensor, another lie. Upon picking up the truck the owner has an attitude and didnt want to take my money and stated " all I did was clean the sensor and you good to go". Then I stated na yiu dont want my money because you miss diagnosed my truck. Saying it in a jokey joke way. And sure enough that struck a nerve because the true hurts. He started calling me every racist slur he can think of. Long story short, thus shop is no different than the 98% of the shop around here, dont know any about fixing a car and tell anything just to take your money. 20 minutes into the drive check engine light came on. Do not waist your money and time. At another racist shop owner shop who is out here ripping ppl out of there money.

Joona Collier I had a strong fuel smell in the cabin. The mechanic found a cracked fuel injector seal, replaced it, and tested the system for leaks. It’s fixed, and I’m glad it wasn’t something worse.

Hal King They replaced the alternator on my Sprinter van in my driveway. Took a couple hours but way better than trying to tow it somewhere.

Jeffrey Rothman Great place to get your car service more than friendly and there pricees are more than reasonable one thing is youre going to have to drop your car off if hes busy or make an appointment which is understandable but we definitely recommend Mikes garage

Leigh Williams I was told $145 for an AC diagnosis ( very expensive compared to other mager companies). At check out I was charged $171.69. I called afterwards confused and told the extra charge was supplies. Shouldnt supplies be added into the quote? I was told $2247.09 to fix my AC. I left with a basic understanding, called back at a later date to get a better understanding of what was happening and why so expensive. John was really rude and short with me. He kept interrupting me also and kept raising his voice. I was asking questions like about the details of my vehicle and he said he didnt know and the person who worked on it wasnt there. There were no notes detailing the issue or who worked on my vehicle. He told me hed have the manager call me tomorrow. Im hoping when Diego calls me tomorrow hell have exact details. ***DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THESE GUYS!!!** I was treated poorly, over charged and it was not explained properly to me what the issue was with my AC system MIDAS ONLY CHARGES 89 and I got similar quotes from Firestone also. UPDATE: 6/26/25. After being told by John that the manager Diego would get in touch with me the next day, I still have not received a call.. DO NOT TRUST A COMPANY THAT WILL NOT EVEN CALL BACK WHEN YOU JUST SIMPLY WANT TO UNDERSTAND EXACTLY WHAT THEY FOUND WRONG IN YOUR VEHICLE

Meghan McCarthy My car broke down on a SATURDAY on MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND and these professional men found what was wrong, replaced it, and kept me thoroughly updated while I was away from my car. They provided fast and excellent service!! I truly am so grateful for their generosity, especially when EVERY OTHER AUTO SHOP was closed in town. I highly recommend to ANYONE and will be coming back for all repairs in the future!!
