Ron Gross I am the rest of my family have been bringing our cars here for about 10 years now. It is probably the most organized mechanic garage I have ever seen. The mechanics are always the same because they work well and they are well taken care of. When Jumbo tells me my car is gonna be ready at a certain time, it is always ready at that time and the work is well done. I recommend them to everyone.

Steven Saber Went in with an 8 AM appointment on a Monday morning for a brake job, pads and rotors, was in and out in less than two hours. Very nice owner, very clean place. I had shopped the job around to several other mechanics, and they were definitely the least expensive. Will definitely contact them again if I need any other work done on my vehicle. Thank you Jose.

Tyler T I would not recommend this Auto Repair pros shop to anyone. I brought my camper van in for a basic tuneup before I went across country as prevent preventative maintenance. The condition that I picked up the vehicle in could’ve easily killed me and my two dogs as the engine idle very rough and when I got on the highway and went above 45 mph, I could only punch the gas all the way to the floor or coast. If I put on the gas a little bit, the whole engine would shake and stutter. it was also impossible for me to use cruise control, or the engine would shake and stutter when a little bit of gas was applied by the cruise control. Work performed: They did a Ford van engine tuneup for me And said I needed to have my ignition coils replaced Which they did. They kept my van for 4-5 days and consistently misled me on when my van was going to be ready. It was always today, today, today it was finally ready 4-5 days after I dropped it off. I prefer direct communication and if you don’t meet your time, you just communicate. I had to constantly ask them what’s going on with my van. When I picked it up the engine idled badly and when I got to 45 mph and beyond, if I put a little bit of gas on the engine would stuttered and shake, and then, if I punched the gas it would accelerate. So over 45 mph you could only have the pedal to the floor or coast. I brought it back to them and told them the problem. They kept it for 24 hours and never looked at it. I then went to a different mechanic today who replaced all eight of the ignition coils and he said the problem was: auto repair pros stripped three of the bolts that seal the compartment, that They broke the seal gasket, that 1 of the 8 ignition coils had water in it and that inexpensive ignition coils (pic attached) that were not OEM for my Ford van, where installed. I also attach a picture of the correct ignition coils that should’ve been used which are Ford Motorcraft. So I had to pay $1400 to auto pros for their faulty tuneup and ignition coil replacement job leaving my engine with three bolts that were stripped, no seal, cheap ignition coil parts used and water in one of the ignition coils. I Then had to pay for the job to be repeated today for $1400 after an 300$ engine diagnosis and now my engine idols perfectly and runs great. So to fix auto repair pros $1400 work it cost me an additional $1700 in total. I don’t recommend Auto Repair Pros to anyone Unless you want your vehicle damaged. I will now have to put it in a credit card dispute for incompetent services provided As they did more damage to my van, then if I had never brought it there. They could also have killed me And my dogs as I could not drive the van correctly above 45mph (see above) 05JUN25 update: After the company responded less than 60 minutes To my review and said to go to their shop so they could make amends to this complaint. They said it was no problem and I could not have been hurt or injured after I explained that driving over 45mph I could only drive with the gas pedal to the floor or coast and If I applied a little bit of gas, the whole engine shook And stuttered. They refused to credit my credit card due to incompetent services provide Which left me and my dogs in a very dangerous van where my dogs and I could’ve been killed on the highway. I do not recommend using auto repair pros unless you want them to damage your vehicle and potentially leave you in a dangerous situation.

They did a great job on the car, very knowledgeable & honest (which I have found is a rare commodity these days). I highly recommend Auto Repair Pros.

I have been getting my car serviced at his shop and I cannot complain. He will always tell you the truth and what is best and needed for your car. He is not those mechanic that’s out here forcing you to do things on your car or take advantage of women , since most of them think women don’t know much about cars.

luz hernandez I find the negative reviews very strange. In my personal opinion about Mr. Ortegas service, these reviews are false. Ive been taking my Chevy Avalanche to this place for six years, and Mr. Ortega has never scammed us; hes always left the car in perfect condition and always lets my husband test drive it before picking out from his shop. Hes also very kind and professional. I dont know why people say these negative things about him; its neither fair nor true. In my case, up until now, hes been a very respectable and professional person. He doesnt overcharge and is very honest. Hes also a very good mechanic. Ive recommended him to many friends, and now theyre all his clients. Im very demanding and difficult with mechanics, thats why I think, in this case, the negative things come from negative people who just want to ruin the image of a business on a whim..

Ramcher Felix He stole $3,200... I told him I had some Acceleration problems and I thought it was the Transmission. I took it 2 different Transmission Specialists before Ortega. Both Transmission Specials said they couldn’t find the problem, they both Declined to do a $2,000 Transmission Rebuild. I next took it to Julio Ortega where he said I need a “Tune Up” and Charged $3,200. I told him my only Concern was for the Problem to be completely fixed. Eventually he Called me to pick up the Car. When I got there I asked to Test Drive to make sure the Problem was fixed. He Refused to let me Test Drive my own Car. He said he has to be Paid $3,200 before he can Drive the Car. That’s the First time I’ve ever heard of anything like that. He stated that the Car is Currently in his Possession, that he’s Responsible and could be held Liable. So he didn’t let me Test Drive the Car. I ended up Paying him $3,200 before Driving the Car. And when I finally went to Drive Back, what do you know? The Car works exactly like how when I brought it in to him. No Difference at all. $3,200 Spent and nothing to Show for it. He didn’t fix a Single thing. I had 2 Specialists Decline $2,000 Service only for Ortega to Charge $3,200 and not fix anything. He’s scammer. Even if he can’t find the Problem he’ll make one up. DO NOT TRUST “Julio Ortega”

Mera Moto I was referred to Hollywood Car Shop by my good friend who was a service advisor at the VW car dealership Ive been going to for over 20 years. Someone accidentally crashed into my passenger car door on Easter Sunday, thankfully that person offered to pay for the damages. I went into Hollywood Car Shop, where the owner, Angelica, immediately looked at the damage and gave me a quote (I honestly was expecting the damage to be much worse or expensive, the quote seemed like a good price). I then sent the quote to the person who crashed into my car, and she went to the shop to pay for the damage directly. I took the car in on the morning 4/22 and I was in shock when on 4/23 in the afternoon I was advised that the car was ready for pick up. I came in this morning and the car is in perfect condition, like nothing ever happened. Which is a relief since its a leased car and you have to return it in good condition. The car was also beautifully detailed, shining like a diamond after it got a much needed cleaning. I am very grateful for Angelicas honesty, kind attention, fast service and excellent body work on my car. I highly recommend Hollywood Car Shop to anyone looking to fix their cars.

Pierre Bradshaw Stop searching, this is the best mechanic for European cars! Ive taken 3 german cars to Murray & crew over the last few years so I can say for sure that not only is he the BEST mechanic near me, hes the most honest mechanic Ive ever dealt with in the entire USA. Unlike other shops where the owners will just pass you off to the techs in the garage, Murray will actually get involved himself to "read your chart" and huddle with the techs to come up with the best diagnosis for you after testing.
