I am a female that drives a nice car and they 100% tried to rip me off because of that. Thank God I realized what was going on and was able to get a refund. It is absolutely deplorable for the man that works there to do what he did to me!

Rolf Wagner I just brought my 2002 Ford F250 to Whites transmission due to a rumble I noticed between 45-60 mph. As soon as I brought it in I was told that it was likely an issue with the torque converter. Not a cheap fix, but still way cheaper than a whole transmission. They called me after test driving the vehicle the next day and said that it was not serious enough to replace. A simple transmission fluid/filter replacement was all that they recommended. Save me a ton of money and worry. They could have taken me over the barrel. They didnt. I applaud their integrity.

Marvin Parton Thought I had an issue with the alternator. I did not. They went through a trouble shooting process convincing me I did not. They replaced a belt and 2 idler wheels and a I was on my way to Indiana. Great people there. Tim and Russell were awesome. Thanks guys.

Steven Pack Go elsewhere for your body work. Jesse’s Auto Body had to redo the entire paint job on my car because it had little specks/imperfections on the whole thing when he gave it back to me initially. He then kept my car for another week without redoing anything to it or calling me back. His workers ruined my leather front driver’s seat by leaving a huge scratch on it and they never mended that situation/compensated me (as it is permanent damage & he said he’d get back to me and never did.) Various clips on my car have been falling off where they had worked on prior, they also left all the old clips from the last grill under my hood… When he gave me back my car the 2nd time, it was dirty and disgusting inside, the passenger door wasn’t put back on correctly, and that’s when I saw the huge scratch on my driver’s leather seat. Overall, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Jesse himself is nice/caring and the lady that works at the front desk is great, but that doesn’t make up for the quality of work done, extra damage made to my car, and the hassle I went through just to get some minor body damage fixed. Save yourself the trouble by going somewhere (anywhere) else.

Nestor was not only honest and fair with price but he also fixed my car in less than 30 minutes. I would have been stuck without his help. mary shv The truck’s front tire blew out on the highway, leaving the driver unable to move. When H & S Truck Repair Shop was called, the phone was answered promptly. All the necessary details were provided, and any questions were addressed efficiently. The mechanic arrived within the promised time frame of an hour and replaced the tire quickly. For any truck repairs or related services in that area, I highly recommend this shop.

Doug Carlton Excellent service and response time today. Driver broke down in Avon Park. H&S took my call, then a three way text that included my driver. H&S was on-site within 30-45 minutes and had us up and running within an hour.

Leonard Wood These people are wonderful. I have used them in the past and just recently. They do amazing body work at a more than fair price. They also warranty their work for a good long time. Gerrard and his entire work force are great people that take pride in their work. They even surprised me with a much lesser price than I was quoted. They even provided me a ride back and forth to my house, a good 20 minute drive. Thanks to all of you involved. I highly recommend them for all of your body work.

Emily Staten After coming to them and telling them EXACTLY what was wrong with my vehicle, it was sitting with them for 4 days before they finally got back to me just to tell me what I already knew. After an unspeedy service, while trying to call to see if my vehicle was ready, they refused to pick up the phone and when they finally did I was met with a terrible, snotty attitude. When I came to pick up my vehicle, my window was down in the rain for the past 4 days and when I tried to say something I was met with more snotty attitude. Don’t trust these hillbillies.

Greg Guido This review is so far from the truth. Their vehicle is overheating and was quoted to do a thermostat. Along with an overall check of the vehicle. Pulling a fuse is not fixing the problem since it’s killing the battery trying to run the fans at high speed to cool The engine off. No one was taking advantage of them. They didn’t want to fix the vehicle and their grandson or whoever called swearing at the advisor. Maybe he should get his facts straight. And clearly they don’t like any business. All one star reviews.

This is the most honest and reliable mechanic in town. He genuinely cares about his customers and is a God fearing man . Integrity is in every turn of his wrench. He is truly a blessing to me.

Pabel Worst mechanic I’ve been . Took my car to him and when I pick it up was leaking oil took it back to him and took over a mont to “fix it” and 2 days later all the antifreeze was gone causing overheating .he charged for parts that were never installed and days later I founda lot of screws were left behind. The injectors were messed up and when I checked under it there’s hoses that were never put back on and a sensor broken being the reason of the overheating

These men took my aged 2005 Jeep Liberty and made it look like new with an exceptional paint job, newly painted wheels, and polished headlights. Alex Wellnitz Fixed a brake line on my 89 Chevy and not only was it EXTREMELY good price but he was also very kind and honest with me about the state of my car (It is heavily rusted). He let me know I was better off getting a different vehicle then putting more money into it since I asked him how much it would cost to replace some of the parts so I really appreciated the honesty because I had put money into before with other mechanics who never said anything. Heavily recommend and he also is very funny too which is a bonus!

Rafael Cruz My 2008 Toyota Tacoma transmission didnt shift he said it needed a complete rebuild and the total cost was $2,400 because it was 4x4 I picked it up 2 weeks later driving home 10 minutes later transmission acted the same way as it never got rebuilt took it back to them and he said it was something electrical I said I dont know you said I needed a whole rebuilt he said the wiring of this truck is on top of the transmission I need to drop the transmission again he wants $800 more and I told him Ill pay you the $800 when I pick up the transmission and I see is everything perfect he agreed a week later he said everything was fixed I went over there test drove it with him and on the test drive transmission acted the same way and he said I dont know whats wrong with this truck is something electrical probably the rats got on it this truck is pristine conditions so he just robbed me 2400 I argue with him he said take it I dont want the truck hear I really feel like running him over lol anyways buddy of mine has a scanner he put the scanner and he said the speed sensor on the wheels 3 were shoot so I just replace them and guess what truck runs perfect I bet you this guy didnt even touch the transmission stay away from this guy does not know nothing doesnt care hes a hungry money grabber

Michael Owens Jose said he could fix my transmission problem for $2000 ok get the tranny back install it the problem is fixed but there was another problem he can fix for $350 ok. Take the tranny back out take to Jose at Highlands Transmission he fixed the problem but once back in the truck there’s another problem he could fix for$1100. He is stealing from his customers.

Linda Wise We have been serviced by Yarborough happily since 2015, using them for more and more services as our relationship grows. They have been our go to for most anything. We will continue to select them - did somebody marry the woman cashing out and setting appointments, she is not my favorite but a family business must work with family, I guess. Id like to go back before her.
