She took the time to hear what I wanted and then explained the different processes - what the maintenance was- and the cost all up front. I had a very pleasant experience and will definitely come back again! ☺️

1 /5 Nina McIntosh: Had a very poor experience today with a nail technician named Mia. I was excited to get my nails done before vacation and instead left upset. I asked her for her opinion regarding whether or not to do tips and she rudely responded “I’m just trying to do my job” and “You’re the one who has to look at your nails, not me”. I was honestly so shocked at her attitude I didn’t say anything the rest of the appointment and left unhappy. I do not recommend her. My nails are lumpy and uneven too : (

B A R E Nail Studio - St. Augustine Di G: Got Manicure and pedis for my daughter and I with gel polish. I requested the simple no design and short rounded nails and so it was. I cant say enough about their work as it was very neat, clean, detailed and excellent! I think the gentleman name was AP and the lady was Mila, they are superb! It was Lovely talking to them. The place is beautiful, clean and organized with a good clean smell. Chairs have massage to the people who care, and most of the accesories used are disposable. Highly recommended from a very detail oriented picky person. We will be returning for sure!

Royal Nails and Spa - St. Augustine Maggie Olsen: Looked for a manicure place near our lodging and this place got good reviews. The place was fairly clean. My friend and I both liked the technicians we had for our nails. We both had a basic manicure. After 5 days my nails still look good with no chipping!

I had planned on only having a pedicure but she was encouraging me to have the manicure, what type I should have and the color. Everyone is nice in there and thats why I come back.

Gloss The Nail Lounge 210 - St Johns Kayla S: I love going to gloss. Ken is amazing and I always have a great time talking to him while I get my nails done! He just did the cutest Valentine’s Day nails today and I know my six year old is going to love the heart details. Pictures do not do them justice!

Gloss The Nail Lounge - St Johns Brittney Bailey: Linda is the absolute best! My nail shape is always 10/10. I am as picking as they come and Linda never disappoints. On top of that Linda is amazing at nail art. I keep my nails a neutral nude with a little nail art here and there and there hasn’t been one thing she hasn’t been able to draw! She always will take the lead with creativity if I’m stump on what to do which I appreciate because she knows my style and taste now and I feel confident with her suggestions for my nails! I can go 5-6 weeks between appointments and my grow out is still acceptable (see photo) LOVE LINDA!

Durbin Nail Spa - St Johns TogetherInSpectrum: I am new to the area and wanted to give this salon a try, because I am searching for the right place. I’ve got my first ever acrylic nails (only had powder and gel before) at Durbin nail spa and am unfortunately really not happy with the experience and result. Everything was very rushed, not a good communication with my nail tech and not a relaxing atmosphere due to that. I left the spa very disappointed, because I tried to explain to the nail tech, that I wanted a natural color like my own nails (milky white) and she only gave me orange and two different shades of pink to choose from. She didn’t explain any options or prices. Before we started and in several times in between I showed her a picture of what I wanted and asked her, if she could do my nails like that and has the same nail polish and she said yes. Even though I asked her to she didn’t really polish my nails and they are very rough and don’t have a smooth surface, still have product under the nails (asked her twice to remove it). She just clipped my natural nails but didn’t really shape them. Instead of a pearl colored shiny glossy nailpolish that I’ve requested, she just used one coat of a clear one and said we’re done, didn’t even show me any options. The result is, that my nails look nothing like the picture I have provided and didn’t look professional. The only effort that was put in by Tracy was to sell me on extra gel polish, despite me telling her that I just wanted regular nail polish. She even got one of her colleagues over to convince me. They don’t have the smooth texture, shiny glossy pearl finish or same length /shape in the picture, there’s still different products around and under my nails and she just tried to get rid off me quickly. When I asked her nicely and friendly about those issues she reacted annoyed and rushed me to pay while my nail polish was still wet (even wanted to take my wallet out of my purse, because apparently she couldn’t wait to let me dry first). A very unpleasant and not relaxing experience at all. That’s no way to treat a customer. In the pictures you can see what I’ve got instead. This is not what I wanted and not what I’ve paid for. I still can’t believe she sent me home like that. After being rushed out and taking some time to digest this experience I took some time to give them feedback rather than just giving them a disappointing Google review. They never even responded (it’s been over a week). That’s again really poor customer service after giving you a second chance to make things right.
