5 /5 Jennifer Burgess: My son was on his Make-A-Wish, Disney trip and his GJ tube got clogged. Anyone who has experience with a GJ tube already knows that this would require an Appointment with interventional radiology. Most hospitals only have limited appointments during the week with IR, certainly not availability on the weekend. However, another parent in a Make-A-Wish Facebook planning group that I am a part of recommended that I call Advent health in Orlando Because they have an interventional radiology department that might be available on the weekends. I had no trouble getting through to the charge nurse at IR who said to come on into the emergency department and let them know that I had an arrangement with IR, and they would take care of him. We took him in as she said. The emergency room was not crowded, everyone was as friendly as they could possibly be, and we were very impressed with the efficiency of the emergency department, as well as the interventional radiology team. We are from Atlanta and we are very used to crowded Childrens Hospital’s. We were pleasantly surprised With the services at Advent health, and we would recommend them to anyone. Everyone we encountered was kind, friendly, and efficient. You don’t ever Want to go to the hospital but if we needed to, we would certainly go back there.

5 /5 Kayle Jordan: Walt Disney pavilion for children in Orlando took excellent care of my son during his surgery to have tubes put in his ears, plus having tonsils and adenoids removed. Provided amazing care and support when we had to return to the Emergency Department part of this facility 2 days later for concerns and our concerns were all handled and addressed with kindness and compassion. Dr Austin and his team who helped with the surgery were top notch I couldn’t be happier because being something so extensive and nerve wracking for me ended up calming with how fast and in and out my son was with surgery. Definitely appreciate everyone in this hospital for their support and being so kind and professional

5 /5 heather coronado: When my son was 8 weeks old I took a leap of faith and drove 2 hours to this children’s hospital. They took great care of him and he ended up being hospitalized for 10 days. Fast forward to 3/5 he was admitted again due to being sick and once again received great care. The moment his stats dropped to dangerous level they were quick to rush in and start O2 support. 10/10 will always recommend this hospital.

5 /5 Betsy Vas: Nurses on floor 6 Thank you so much for making sure my son returned home healthy. My son was very ill they helped him so much . Today was his birthday they gave him a few gifts . Never seen such caring facility Nurse Alexia and Lauren where amazing to him . Lauren also made sure if we needed anything. The 1st two nights where stressful I dont remember his nurses name she was so friendly as well. Thank you DR Singh I appreciated all the reassurance and advice given by the Pediatrician.

The nurses, respiratory therapists, child life specialists, and physicians went above and beyond—not only in treating her but also in ensuring we fully understood her care. We were actively involved in the treatment plan and encouraged to participate in physician rounds, which made a huge difference in our comfort and confidence. The entire team showed exceptional skill, compassion, and communication, making a stressful situation much easier for our family. We are beyond grateful for their dedication and highly recommend this hospital to anyone seeking top-quality, patient-centered pediatric care.
