5 /5 L p: The doctor is compassionate, kind and very detailed in explaining every thing about your heart and more. Prior to surgery I had a EKG that was abnormal and needed to be cleared for surgery by a heart doctor. It is a comfort to say he is my heart doctor. His staff is very open and easy to work and always welcoming. They are always kind and efficient. His office is clean and neat. You do not feel like you are on an assembly line with many others crowded into a waiting room and shuttled along. I would and do recommend him and his staff to entrust with your health.

And answered all our questions and didn’t rush us. Her nurse practitioner Leah is also excellent. When we need prescriptions renewed. She never drops the ball. We are both very pleased.

She is excellent and really on top of things and the nurses make it a pleasure to sit and chat with other patients!! They are so warm and nice, esp Reba at the Waterman Hospital office, which is cozy!!! But the care I get from Dr Mills is the real highlight and I do trust her with my heart! She is thorough and takes care of me as if I were her mom!!! All around, a great doctor and nurse and place to be if you need care!!!!!

Erica: I picked up my stool sample kit from this location on Friday, 12/13. I verified with both representatives that they offer this test and they provided me with the kit and showed me exactly how to collect it, filling up each tube UP to the line. I strategically planned which day I would collect the sample, selecting one of the only weekdays that I have off of work, and managing around iron infusions, vitamin infusions, weekly immunoglobulin treatment, imaging appointments, and held off on antibiotic injections until after collecting this sample. I also made sure to get strong coffee the morning of since I am currently facing constipation. Upon dropping it off on 12/26, the front desk associate was met with confusion about the order. It took 25 minutes for her to register me in the Advent Health system. While she was doing so, a tech came and took the sample from me, looked at it, and had it in her possession for at least 10 minutes. After I left the lab, the front desk associate came out to my car, startling me, and informed me that the lab is going to reject my sample because its above the line. I told her that I followed the instructions exactly as they were provided to me. On the instructions provided to me, it clearly indicates to fill the tubes with small scoops UP TO THE LINE then vigorously shake the tubes. Obviously, upon shaking, the volume will slightly increase and slightly go over the line. I drove 1 hour to get to the lab, waited 25 minutes while she took my sample and information, and drove 1 hour back, and youre going to reject my sample because I followed the directions exactly how they were provided to me? What a complete waste of my time, fuel, and energy as an immunocompromised chronically ill person.

He continuously argued with my surgeon and prosthetic doctor saying that hes not responsible when my surgeon signed over the care to him on document. Hes lucky Im missing a leg and a arm. Aggravates me to see someone care so little.

Susan Noonan: Took my 88 year old father whom had a scary incident of choking which was the start of his last heart attack to your ER. He had to sit in ER for over an hour and we were treated horribly by gentlemen acting as security guard. Upon entry, he yelled at us to read the sign as there was more than 2 of us. Frankly the last thing I do when scared my father is having heart attack. There are so many ways he could have addressed us. I sat outside and several hours later he was on break and glared at me as he walked by. Why? Not sure why such an angry person would be in this role. I think the check in person also absorbed his vibe as she incorrectly coded my father’s reason and thus that’s why ER nurse said we sat so long. Once we got past front desk, all was good but please train your ER desk on positively treating customers. This was Friday 3/28 around noon. As I sat w my mom late afternoon, I noticed the next shift was more pleasant. Thank you
