5 /5 Luis Velez: My 1973 Stingray is happy now! So am I.
Ive put more miles on my classic Corvette trying to get the a/c to work. Several shops charged for a diagnostic (out the ear$) only to say: "I think its the compressor,or maybe a bad coil. I heard evaporator, and it could be that, or this.
At Affordable Air, I was treated as if I came to an emergency room. Doctors were on the job instantly. Dean (the owner) explained everything easily. He told me up front that fittings werent in correctly and immediately fixed that. Then they took the next step and one more. Voila! In less time than I could eat a burger, and the cabin was nice and cold.
At Affordable Air, even the shop was air-conditioned. The surroundings were very neat and clean and orderly.
The entire staff was professional and polite, but most importantly, they are knowledgeable.
Being a classic car, I worry about handling and caring. These guys were like musicians. They draped the fenders and were extremely careful.
I TRUST Affordable Air implicitly.
Finally, the bonus was that I am appointing Dean Rivera at Affordable Air as the curator of My 73 Stingray. We now have a plan for the car to include reconfig of my headers, some suspension aspects, and other items.
The only thing left was for Dean to quote me that famous line from Casa Blanca: "Louie, I believe this is the beginning of a great relationship."
I can tell you this: I will not go anywhere else when it comes to my Corvette. Wether A/C related or anything else...Affordable Air, thats where!!
