5 /5 Joe Ace: I took my 1997 Corvette to the shop and they did a great job. This was last year. I took it because I had the seals replaced the ones that connect from the engine to the transmission underneath the engine block because everything was leaking and they did an excellent job fixing it. I’ve also had them fix the blower for my AC they installed a new hand Operator on the driver side to control windows and things like that. I had the oil sensor replaced. The first time I took it I was having an issue with the headlights would not go up or down. So somehow they were able to fix that, I’m talking about a year ago maybe a little bit more. I had another issue and I changed the headlights to the LED. They did that for me and they did a great job. Now recently I went back because the oil sensor had failed which they agreed was still on the warranty and they would replace it. I also went back because the headlights they stopped working in other words they won’t open and close. There’s a manual switch and I can leave them open all the time. So when I went this time. They gave me a quote of what was gonna cost me to change the actuator on the fan for the AC. It was an opening and closing. The driver side would get warm in the passenger side would get cold air. And they wanted to change something else so that the headlights were open and close. Well, the course is gonna be over $4000 for labor and some parts of course labor was more expensive so I chose not to do this. So I went and I picked up my car and when I was driving home, I turned on the headlights and they open and closed. I put the AC on and the driver side that was getting ice cold there. So I don’t know what happened. They were gonna charge me X number of dollars to get that fixed I refused when I get the car. I’m driving it all that stuff is already fixing. It’s working so I’m like dumb found it. I don’t know what to think but Friend is so strange that I would be charged so much money to fix something that somehow they managed to fix and not realize it. I did have a fuse That would not let the dash lights come on there was a big fuse located underneath the passenger glove compartment. So I know they replace that, but in advertently, they might have fixed everything because of that. in conclusion, I saved a little over $4000 because what I want to fix. I got it back fixed. so I wanna say I’m glad I didn’t spend those $4000 because I would spend that money and I would’ve gotten the car back the way it is now and everything is working. It’s so weird.
