Red flag warning took my car for two motor mounts The so-called mechanic calls me telling me he cant do the job so I came pick my car up and now theres 2!!!!!! Engine lights on that were not there when I dropped it off!!!!!!!!!! I came for two engine mounts why are there two engine lights on my car now the transmission is not switching gear either One of the mechanics was rude didnt want to hear anything I had to say luck there was people around anyway there most likely taking pieces out your car or they dont know what f theyre doing and messing up peoples cars please dont bring your car here you will regret it!!!!

1 /5 Heidi Hayes: I wish I could give this place zero stars. I took my car in and what should have been a 2 hour fix . After a week and a half and $667 later my car had to be towed out of there. He made it worse and undrivable. And he still insisted on trying to fix it with something that wasnt even pertaining to the problem. He just wanted to take me for more money. And if you call to check up on it, he yells at you!!!

1 /5 Andres Chaves: Quoted me one price on the phone then changed it. 290 for a clutch then 900. Said on the phone he would swap it for 850 then bumped it up to 920 when I told him I didnt believe it was the transmission because multiple mechanics told me its the clutch. So since I didnt go for the more expensive job he wanted to gwt more for the original I called for. Then I had to literally call him from a different phone because he ignored my text asking him to leave the car outside the shop for me to pick it up and the 5 calls I made. This guy is shady to say the least he will change the price on you or suggest you get your whole engine fixed if he thinks he can convince you. By far the worst experience Ive had with a mechanic. Not a word he said came true

He scheduled us quickly and was fairly priced. Most recently, we had him evaluate a car that my son wanted to buy. He did a thorough inspection and suggested what we should offer for the car, based on work that needed to be done. Thorough, honest and dependable! Spark Plug (the resident cat) is a bonus.

I live 45 minutes away, but I will only take my cars to My Mechanic of the Treasure Coast.

Hicks Service Center - Vero Beach

Michaela: This was by far one of the worst mechanic experience Ive ever had. I had asked them to change my alternator and then my friend offered to do it for me so I called hicks and asked them not to do the job. They said they had already begun to take the engine apart so they wanted to be paid $50, and I agreed to do that. I went and paid them $50, they gave me the keys and I drove the car a few blocks away and parked in a parking lot and my friend changed the alternator. While my friend was doing that we discovered that hicks hadnt put my engine back together. The radiator fan was in the backseat. The AC hose was disconnected and missing its bolts. The bolts are also missing from the top of the radiator. I went back and told them what happened and asked them for my parts back and they refused to even give me my engine parts back so now I have to spend even more to order new parts and pay another mechanic to fix the damage they did. Hicks hadnt even told me that my engine wasnt put back together when I was given my keys back and I drove away with it......it could have caused a very serious accident and blown the engine. They are also overcharging people. It took my friend one hour to change the alternator and hicks had been going to charge me for three hours of labor for changing it, so they were charging 3 times what it really cost. I provided the part.
