5 /5 Manny: This incredible park is a true gem and a source of pride for Lakeland. What makes it even more special is that it was created by the community, for the community. Since its opening just a few years ago, it has rapidly grown and was even ranked the #1 city park in the U.S. within 2–3 years. The park offers fantastic volunteering opportunities, each one not only contributing to its growth but also offering valuable learning experiences. Every detail of the park reflects thoughtful design and exceptional construction.

However, they fail to think about the families with little kids that want to take the kids to a park so they can enjoy and not walk all around a huge park to see nature. To get from one slide to another slide. The 2-year-old was having a tantrum because there was one slide and we had to walk miles to get to the treehouse. In this heat its not worth going with young kids when its so hot in Florida. Its more fun for adults to walk and explore nature. My grandson wasnt happy. The other kids said they didnt enjoy the park. The kids range from 2 through 9 6 children and they all said they didnt like the park. I believe this is more for adults to walk, ride a bike, joggers. Families to sit and picnic. There is a shuttle. Long lines for that.

Lake Morton - Lakeland Adela: The lake is beautiful. It was hard to find parking near a picnic table because they were either full or no parking spot near by so we ended up eating in the car but the scenery was still beautiful with the swans and ducks. So peaceful

Circle B Bar Reserve - Lakeland Reese Parker: Loved the scenery. Nature at its finest for sure. Loved the free parking and free entry to this place. Make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes when coming here. I learned the hard way (I had on flip flops) We got to see lots of alligators up close and personal. Saw lots of birds and even a turtle. The people visiting were very nice and repeat visitors too. The workers were very pleasant and spoke to us giving us information for future visits as far as tours etc. This was a definite work out and make sure you bring lots of water to stay hydrated when walking here !!

Escapology Escape Rooms Lakeland - Lakeland Jennifer Smith: Amazing experience. Took our whole team so no one was left out. Super staff. Friendly. So helpful with clues! Made it out barely with 2-1/2 minutes to go!

Dobbins Park - Lakeland Sheldon Bryant: Excellent, small-sized park. Its wide open and lit by the sky with good sized pavilions as well as play areas for kids. The park could be safer if it were not off a main street, but the through traffic isnt too bad.

Allen Kryger Park - Lakeland Wike Jay: Beautiful public park overlooking Lake Mirror in Lakeland Florida. Beautifully landscaped and well maintained by the city. The swan sculpture is amazing and the view of Lake Mirror and the surrounding walkways is priceless. All of the vintage lighting poles and globes have been kept and illuminate the Lake’s perimeter. The lawns are lush and green and there are terraced areas with stairs as well as sidewalks down from the sloping areas. Truly a treasure and greatly appreciated.

Peterson Park - Lakeland Rachel H: The playground area is nice. Most of the swings were in the shade so they werent too hot for my kids to swing on. The grounds are well maintained and they have several baseball/softball fields. However, the boardwalk needs to be replaced because several board are worn out and the bathrooms REALLY need updated.

Lake Parker Park - Lakeland Andrew White: Awesome park a little of everything to do for all ages brought the doggy just watch for gators they are out nice trails to walk get your steps in while enjoying the beautiful earth

SUN n FUN Aerospace Expo - Lakeland Edgar Sella: Getting out of the airshow was a mess, took us about 1hr. But to their defense the road had 2 new lanes closed. I do love Sun n Fun
