1 /5 Edwinica Dorilus: I have never felt so disrespected at a place of business. While the front desk receptionist was kind and professional, my experience with Donna, the office manager, was completely unacceptable. I arrived on time for my 1:30 appointment, quickly completed all necessary paperwork, and everything was fine—until the Groupon was mentioned.
At that point, Donna’s demeanor changed. She immediately stated that I could not be seen until the Groupon was purchased and implied that my cleaning might not be done that day. I even offered to pay the regular price if that was an issue, but her attitude remained unprofessional and dismissive. There was no valid reason for her behavior, and whether it stemmed from personal bias or a general lack of customer service skills, it was completely uncalled for.
Ultimately, I chose to leave before being seen because I did not feel comfortable with how I was being treated. It is unfortunate that someone in a managerial position would behave this way, as it reflects poorly on the entire practice. I would strongly recommend additional training in professionalism, customer service, and respect for all patients—regardless of whether they use a Groupon or not. I cannot support a business that does not treat its customers with basic courtesy.
Update: her name might have been Dawn she stated she was the manager. As stated I never got the chance to become a patient due to her horrible attitude but I did fill out the forms on the tablet. I do not appreciate being called a liar, your office is by little ceasers and a Publix.
