We had our 2016 Land Rover LR4 towed 1.5 hours to Land Rover of Orlando after the coolant system catastrophically failed while driving on the turnpike. Upon inspection, the failure was traced to improper installation of the hose from the thermostat to the radiator. The hose was routed incorrectly during the radiator install, causing it to rub against the A/C compressor pulley until it was eventually severed—leading to the blowout. The workmanship was poor—zip ties were used and along with not installing proper clips.
To make matters worse, when we brought this to the attention of Mark at Cam Automotive, he responded aggressively and deflected any responsibility. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he blamed everything and everyone else.
Dishonesty and substandard repairs are a dangerous combination. I strongly recommend you take your vehicle elsewhere. This kind of negligence could have led to a much more serious outcome.
