1 /5 Derek B: We went to Viera Church looking for a welcoming moderate nondenominational church. However, after attending a few services it became clear that the Pastors here teach an exclusive divisive version of the Bible. You won’t find any indication of this on the website, inside the church, or on any signage that you’ve entered a very fundamentalist Southern Baptist Convention church. They openly demonize gay people during service, and treat woman as second class members where none of the five pastors are female.
We won’t be returning there but wanted to warn others what this deceptively presented church actually represents so you don’t waste your time.
