Common Ground Playground - Lakeland (FL)

5 /5 Mike Mike: Common Ground Playground at Edgewood Park is a fantastic spot for kids! It offers plenty of shade, picnic tables, a great play area for children, bathrooms and ample parking. A perfect place for family outings!

5 /5 Channing Eyre: This playground is incredible! It is very large and has a wide variety of activities. There are several different playgrounds with differing difficulty levels. There are butterfly sculptures throughout with pathways surrounded by beautiful plants. We spent 3 hours playing and could have played longer if it hadn’t gotten so hot outside. The playground is completely fenced with latching gates. The restrooms were clean and well taken care of.

5 /5 Jordan Eyre: Honestly one of the best parks I have ever been to! My nearly-3 year old twins (boy and girl) found many, many places to play, and even had fun finding sculptural butterflies, interesting flowers, plants, and trees, insects, and bronze sculptures littered throughout the park. At one point, there was a water pump that could be turned on to fill a small stream that ran down the hill in a cement culvert kind of thing, with bridges etc. I found a way to prime the pump, but it wasnt really working properly. Within moments, two park engineers came up and fixed it for us! Turns out, the cistern that supplied the water had been turned off, and it was a simple and fast fix. I was very happy to see city employees there to work on it! There is also a bunch of tennis courts next to it, which were being enjoyed by locals. Very cool park! Will be back!
