  • Dade City Dog Park - Dade City Expressive Pets: In the heart of this quaint township; famous for their kumquat festival and parade; sits a lovely playground and dog park. Price Park is a large recreation area, with tennis courts too. My pack had a blast. We stopped by every day, during our recent visit.
Historic Pasco County Offices - Dade City John Chufar: Dade City is decorated.
North Straub Park - St. Petersburg Naomi Sprung: Beautiful, tranquil and serene. Beautiful endless water that seem to stretch into infinity. Framed by boats and greenery and gorgeous trees. There are sculptures and a beautiful walkway and super close to beautiful, trendy and cool shops. We want to live here!!
The DalĂ Museum - St. Petersburg Frank Whitesell: We went for the Thursday evening hours when the museum is open later. We enjoyed the music in the atrium and walked the exhibits upstairs. I learned a lot about Surrealism in the overview video and then better understood what I was seeing in the galleries. I preferred Dalis work over the other artist on display who focused on surreal photography. I usually love photographic medium, but not David Raymond. Luckily it leaves next week. The VR Dali exhibit was the highlight.
Museum of Fine Arts - St. Petersburg N Criscio: Loved our visit! This was our first time touring the museum and it was a great find. We just happened to see the poster advertising the kimono exhibit while walking down the pier, and decided to go. Im glad we did! The kimonos were amazing and I learned so much about their design and meaning of some of the finer details. The rest of the museum was great to see too. I did not expect to see a Monet or Georgia OKeefe! This is a great place to pop in if youre downtown. I look forward to seeing future special exhibits.
St. Pete Pier - St. Petersburg Rai Vip “Rai like Rye bread”: Awesome place!! Parking ridiculously difficult to find even at 9 pm! Tram ride to the very end of the pier was efficient. Every 10 minutes or so. Visited all of it at night and then again during the day. Both times were terrific! Even celebrated a birthday dinner at midnight at Cassie’s. Claudia, the waitress, was simply wonderful!! Her pic is enclosed. She even did a solo birthday song. She is patient, kind, helpful and beautiful. The other restaurants at the very end of the pier, like Tiki, range from usual to rather expensive, price wise, but still worth visiting. Live music added to the ambience. Extravagant views all over. See pics.
Sunken Gardens - St. Petersburg Miled Nakhel: Sunken Gardens is a gorgeous, peaceful escape right in the heart of Tampa. The lush gardens, vibrant flowers, and tropical plants make it a perfect spot for a relaxing stroll. The pathways are well-maintained, and there are plenty of shady spots to take in the beauty. It’s also a great place to spot wildlife, with flamingos and other exotic birds adding to the charm. While admission is a bit pricey, the experience is well worth it for the serene atmosphere and stunning scenery. If you love nature and want a quiet break from the city, this is a must-visit!
Vinoy Park - St. Petersburg Nicky Plaza: Attended my very first Blues Festival at Vinoy Park in beautiful St.Pete Florida!! During the festival there were many food options, drinks, alcoholic beverages & non alcoholic beverages. There was security & a host of wonderful beautiful people enjoying the 3 day event called the 2025 Tampa Bay Blues festival!!
Albert Whitted Park - St. Petersburg Noah Von Dauber: Beautiful park right on the waterfront. Came here for the annual Asian food festival and it was a blast.
Great Explorations Childrens Museum - St. Petersburg Toni Thompson: We love coming here for the permanent things to do like the surfboard climber, the treehouse slide, the put-on-the-weather-forecaster-jacket to be on TV, Firefighter complete with sliding pole, shopping experience, and more. The seasonal activity is a simulated ice rink with plastic floor and felt snowballs--a real Florida kids ice skating experience. The interactive coloring and science events are always fun. A separate area for younger ones allows them to explore fine motor skills like puzzles and gross motor equipment in their own space. Free parking with a circle drop-off and pick-up drive in a lot shared by another daytime venue and a restaurant. Free wheel chair van access spaces with long curb cuts. wheel chair access in the museum except for the surfboard climber, treehouse, and the step up to firetruck. The Creative Corner houses several Florida small animals like turtle, lizard, and snake. Today very loud acoustical music that contributed to the sensory input Wheel chair access all gender restroom with 5 ft x 5 ft area, 2 grab bars, and diaper changer.
