Words cannot express how grateful I am to have him and his staff taking care of us. My mom has since passed away last month and Dr Watren visited her each morning. His office staff, Denise, Shamir, Kevin, and Tony couldnt be better. A doctor without a good office staff will have troubles. A good office staff allows the doctor to focus on the patient.

When our daughter recently turned 18, our insurance company attempted to transfer her to another provider. However, after speaking with Boca Pediatrics, they assured us that she could continue receiving care there. I fought with the insurance company to make it happen because we wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. The service at this office is truly OUTSTANDING! We have Humana Medicaid, and unlike experiences we’ve had elsewhere, we are never treated any differently than patients with other insurance plans. The office staff is always warm and welcoming. Even when we have to wait, I know it’s because the provider is giving another family the time and attention they deserve—just as they will for us. My daughter’s health is extremely complex, and Diane Wold, APRN, has been an absolute blessing. She listens attentively and provides the guidance we need to navigate our daughter’s care. When we can’t see her, the other providers are just as compassionate and knowledgeable. A special shout-out to Monique in the Referral Department—she is truly AMAZING! I understand how challenging her job is, yet she handles everything with expertise and dedication. The entire support staff is phenomenal, always going the extra mile to assist patients and families. We are so happy with Boca Pediatric Group that we gladly drive almost an hour to receive care here. The quality of service and level of commitment from the entire team make it well worth the trip. There is no coordinated care here if your loved one experiences a medical emergency. Departments do not communicate and if your doctor is away, there is no one to treat you or return a call. Significant lack of experience with Parkinsons patients in the neuro ICU . Haldol was administered for agitation which is a dopamine blocker and worsens symptoms significantly in older patients. My father left the hospital worse than when he went into it.

Fernando Recio, MD - Boca Raton Mayra Rodriguez: Was excited to make an appt with Dr. Recio until I called. The receptionist was so dismissive and uncaring. Definitely a 9-5 worker. After I hung up I immediately called to cancel after realizing the horrible customer service I received. I feel bad for the owner who doesnt even know whats going on when patients call.
