There was also a woman at the lobby desk who was so compassionate, asking if I wanted a warm blanket etc. since I had to sit in the lobby (no room available). She was just really sweet to care and check. No one wants to be in the emergency room but if I had to be those two stood out as really special. Dr. David E. Just had a rude experience with a staff member. I called to clarify lab orders. The person said, with very rude attitude, we were the only one who has issues with the orders. Thats funny cause the patient has never brought in orders from this doctor before. If other labs are not calling to clarify these orders, they are not doing their job correctly.
Please do a self check and ask yourself why the attitude for a simple question that benefits your patient. May be youre in the wrong profession. I was so relieved, from that very moment he showed compassion, expertise, and calmly assessed my husbands condition. Emergency surgery was necessary. Dr Borges was with us every step of the way with a long complicated recovery. Everyday he visited , reinforcing a positive outcome. We will always be grateful for his quick assessment. He went out of his way to check in on me everyday in CMH when he -by medical standards- was no longer needed. He listened to all of my questions, and concerns. Staff is always friendly. Calls returned in timely matter. Dr. E listened to me when no one would for years. He figured out what was wrong and is proactive about treating me as I am not a pill popper and he is so mellow about letting me have a say. He is kind, patient, extremely knowledgeable and understanding! My whole family adores him. Plus, Corrine! What can I say. I am not always easy to deal with and she handles me like a champion lol.
