5 /5 Debbie Pihl: My husband was referred to Dr Patel to have a Port surgically installed for chemotherapy. Dr Patel gave very good information about the port and how it would be installed maintenanced and removed. Both installation surgery and office removal were performed very successfully. My husband only had chemo for 6 weeks and the Port was in for 2 years just to make sure he didn’t have to have more chemo after his colon surgery. We liked Dr Patel’s professionalism, his helpful staff and very clean facility.

He did a great job and the office personnel were very nice, friendly, professional, and empathetic. Most importantly to me is that I am healing well getting back to normal.

5 /5 ROBERT KANIA: I was lucky that Dr. Patel was on call the night I came into the emergency room with a perforated bowel. His surgical skills saved my life. Before I retired I spent 30 years as a traveling Respiratory Therapist. I have worked with many Surgeons and I would have no reservations about recommending Dr. Patel to my friends and family.

1 /5 SRC: This doctor is a total quack. He wasted precious time- which my mom did not have - diagnosing her (wrongly) and taking a biopsy in the wrong area. He refused to refer her to an oncologist until results came back (10 days), but when the biopsy came back he had taken the sample from the wrong area and they didnt have enough information to treat her properly. We ended up going to a new surgeon because we had no confidence in Dr. Patel. He diagnosed her by looking at her- said she had small cell lung cancer which had spread. 2 weeks before she passed away we finally got a diagnosis (breast cancer which had spread to her spine, pelvis and stomach- NOT LUNG CANCER) but it was too late for her to undergo treatment. Sadly, my mom passed away Sept 8th- Dr. Patel wasted precious time misdiagnosing her, refusing treatment, not referring her to an oncologist and doing a bad biopsy. I do NOT recommend this doctor to anyone!
