1 /5 Kate Gogolen: I scheduled an appointment for my husband due to discomfort and pain in his right ear. However, his experience at this office left much to be desired. Despite expressing his concerns, the doctor, a woman, examined both ears and claimed to find nothing wrong. Instead of addressing the issue comprehensively, she suggested he undergo a hearing test. When he inquired about having the test done during the appointment, he was bluntly informed that it wasnt possible and that hed need to return.
The brevity of the consultation—less than five minutes—and the lack of any meaningful information left us feeling frustrated, especially considering the substantial fee of over $200. Given that the office specializes in ear, nose, and throat (ENT) issues, one would expect a more thorough evaluation, including a hearing test, especially when the patient presents with ear troubles.
Comparatively, our sons pediatric ENT doctor has consistently provided comprehensive care for his ear issues. Its disappointing that this particular ENT doctors couldnt emulate the same level of care and attention to detail.
