5 /5 Brad Hayden: Pep Boys in Pace gave me incorrect info on what could have been the issue of a loud vibration that sounded like a bad tire. Tires were fine and stated the driver rear cv axle is loose and maybe rear differential needs to be replaced. My wife Mindy and I brought it to Florida Stores Firestone 6715 Caroline St in Milton. We gave the info of possible bad cv axle and I thought maybe a bad wheel bearing. Dan was the mechanic and found both rear wheel bearings bad. One was so bad he said he would not let his own wife drive that vehicle. It was fixed earlier than expected and a great price. It makes a difference when your mechanic knows how to properly troubleshoot instead of guessing. I will return if needed. Dan and the staff were great. The vibration sound is gone. Thank You.

2 /5 E S: As service manager, I have blacklisted this shop for my fleet. Cannot risk unnecessary down time again. Not pleased my tech was unexpectedly off the road for 7 hours vs. 2 hours for one RF tire and an alignment. I scheduled my dispatch around broken promises. At 8AM, my tech was told it would take a few hours to have his vehicle ready. At 10AM, After witnessing the vehicle sit idle on GPS for 90 minutes I called. it was presented the vehicle would be done by noon (2 hours later than previously stated) and was finally moved from the bay at 1:54 PM per GPS. At approximately 2:30 my tech called and “just wrapped up” was stated. No, it sat, and the tech had to call at nearly 2:30pm. Once again because I saw it sit on GPS.
