5 /5 Dalen Gardner: I have never post a review and most likely never will again. When I read the 1 star rating I felt it needed a response. G & J Auto is one of the best and HONEST auto shop in Milton. They do not have a fancy office or "nice" waiting room. They fix your automobile. No showroom, no accessories to sell, etc. It is a bare bones auto mechanic shop. You drop your car off, leave and come back when it is repaired. The owner and his son are also mechanics that do most repair work....they are covered in "sweat and grease" when you are greeted because they are mechanics not a desk jockey like me. I discovered them several years back when my 2001 Buick was having issues. I had stopped by a Fancy nice showroom Auto and Tire shop. They told me my transmission needed repair, $2300.00. Depressed I stopped by G & J hoping to save couple hundred dollars. Jack patiently listen to my sob story how I could only afford maybe $1500.00. Jack immediately told me a valve needed replace....$160.00. My daughter had estimate on her HYUNDAI repair $1200, took to G & J. Jack told her the engine was shot, not worth replacement He could get it running for $125 and to drive until it dies, maybe a week or years. HONEST! Just last year, a friend takes her Honda to same Fancy Tire and Auto shop for AC repair and was Quote $862.00. I suggest G & J and they said it required a minor part replaced, $125.00. If you want a clean office, showroom and "manager" than G & J Auto is not your place. If you want a honest quality auto mechanic than G & J is the place.
