We drove from Missouri to Destin and while we were driving we got a call canceling us. They said they are closed til further notice. They had 8 dolphins that had died this year. Talking to someone at a gas station stated theres more to the story. I have no idea what it is but my grandaughters are heartbroken. We paid over $600 for this gift. I was told will get a refund but this is not the point.

On a sunny day, you can see straight to the bottom, making it easy to spot any toys your dog might drop. The cleanliness of the area is also commendable; it’s evident that the park staff takes great care to maintain this space. The layout is fantastic, with plenty of shade and seating for humans to relax while their furry friends splash around. My dog was overjoyed! she had a blast swimming and playing with other dogs, all in a safe and well-maintained environment. The surrounding park offers lovely trails for a nice walk before or after swimming, making it a perfect outing. If you’re looking for a great place to let your dog enjoy some water fun, Snyder Park’s dog swim area is the place to be. We’ll definitely be returning soon!
