5 /5 Dee: I was referred to Dr Gonzalez and Fort Myers DPC several months ago for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and chose to try BioTe treatments. I had tried BioTe in the past with a different doctor and stopped treatment for several months because I knew my hormone levels were not correct and when I brought it up I felt I was being dismissed by the doctor. Dr Gonzalez spent over an hour with me discussing different HRT options and encouraged me to give BioTe another go and I am so glad she did. I was experiencing headaches, moodiness, lack of energy and constant hot flashes. A few months later and my misery is gone! I have so much more energy, sleeping thru the night, easier to live with I’m sure and those miserable hot flashes are a thing of the past! I have taken some form of HRT for over 20 years due to having a hysterectomy and I have never felt better! You’re never too old and I can’t say enough good things about Dr Gonzalez. She is the doctor you need to help you get your life back! After having such a great experience with BioTe treatment, I decided to try the Emsculpt Neo offered at Fort Myers DPC. This treatment burns belly fat and sculpts the abdominal muscles at the same time. I was impressed when Dr Gonzalez told me she likes the treatment more for the health aspect of it since it also burns fat that surrounds the internal organs. After the 6 weeks of treatment I am absolutely amazed at the results! It might not give you a 6 pack but I’ve gone down one size in pants, walk better, feel stronger and I should continue to see changes for 90 days after the last treatment. I feel heard by Dr. Lima - he takes the time to get to know the patient and their needs, and seeks to treat the whole patient, not just the symptom of the day. He has been an indispensable part of my care team, and I wouldnt have made the progress Ive made without his help. I plan to be with Fort Myers DPC for a good long while.

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare - Tallahassee Sunny Sunshine: I had a terrible experience during my recent visit to TMH ER. The ER doctor, made me feel unheard and dismissed my concerns. Despite clearly being in pain, he performed the bare minimum—only a blood draw—and told me I was fine without running any further tests that could have properly addressed my issue. To make matters worse, he NEVER sent my prescription to the pharmacy, leaving me without necessary medication. Not only did this visit leave me stuck with an outrageous ER bill, but I also lost additional income because my health problem wasn’t resolved, forcing me to miss work. This was an extremely frustrating and costly experience with no resolution to my pain. If you value compassionate, thorough care and effective treatment, I strongly recommend AVOIDING this hospital at all costs. Save yourself the money, time, and frustration.

HCA Florida Capital Hospital - Tallahassee JD Kennedy: Nursing staff was skillful and kind, and managed good continuity of care despite understaffing and scheduling difficulties. Housekeeping and nutrition not so great. And infectious disease precautions insufficient— I was told AFTER I’d been exposed to other patients with flu; had I been warned in advance I could have masked and taken more precautions to avoid getting sick. Coughing after abdominal surgery is the worst.

Jet Medical Center - Tallahassee - Tallahassee Talmadge Flowers: I did an appointment on 10/10/2024. The way you take blood pressure is completely wrong! I was failed by my company because if it (avg 142/92) … according to Harvard.edu elbow should be heart level, and as such I needed 3 more blood pressure readings to pass that I done at VA Hospital in Tallahassee and was avg 121/75…. Next time please do it the correct way

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare - Tallahassee Debbie: I recently made an emergency visit to the ER. It was past midnight and from parking to registration to the evaluation station to getting monitored and treated...it was seamless. The staff was courteous and professional. They made sure I was comfortable while being treated. They informed me of all prodedures beforehand. They updated me quickly of the test results. Check out was smooth. I was impressed with the level of professionalism with every employee I encountered. Big Big thumbs up.

Select Specialty Hospital - Tallahassee - Tallahassee Thomas Carlisle: My wife spent six weeks at Select Specialty Hospital. After enduring multiple rounds of sepsis before her arrival, the care team at Select went above and beyond to restore her health. When she first arrived, she was unable to get out of bed, stand, or walk. But by the time she left, she was walking with a walker and had made remarkable progress in her recovery. The doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, CNAs, and both OT and PT teams were exceptional. They listened to her needs, treated her with respect, and provided care that made her feel valued as a patient. The staffs attentiveness gave me complete confidence in their abilities, and I am incredibly grateful for their efforts. I highly recommend Select Specialty Hospital to anyone in need of long-term acute care. Tallahassee is fortunate to have this facility in our community.

HCA Florida Capital Hospital Emergency Room - Tallahassee David Prince: I received excellent care from the time that I walked through the door. The nursing staff is highly knowledge and very kind and I appreciated that since my health was so bad when I came in. I cannot thank you enough for all that each and every person between the ER and The nursing staff that carried for me after I was admitted.

CDR Health Tallahassee Clinic - Tallahassee Michael Tellup: I received both my first and second Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine here. The staff was very friendly and patient, and they waited after I was injected to make sure I was okay, and well to leave. Its nice to know that they were actually concerned with my well being and didnt just inject me, and kick me out. Also, my appointment went fast. They brought me back to a room almost immediately, I really had no wait. All in all, it was a good experience, I would highly recommend them.

TMH Physician Partners - Primary Care in Southwood - Tallahassee Nori Gammons: AVOID: This was my first and, without question, my last visit to this facility. I was deeply disappointed by the staff’s lack of professionalism (the nurse practitioner included). The bedside manner was subpar, and I observed a troubling disregard for patient confidentiality. I overheard staff loudly discussing my test results in the hallway and asking if I was still in the room, without taking the time to check in on me directly. Additionally, when I left the room to ensure they were aware of my presence, the nurse assigned to provide me with my paperwork was on her personal phone, showing little urgency or attention to my needs. This experience was highly unprofessional and concerning.
