  • FSU Internal Medicine Residency Program at TMH - Tallahassee Rachell Arnett: Dr. Day was/is really great with my son, but the office is very hard to get ahold of. Ive been calling for weeks for my daughter to speak with the nurse about her prescription that needs refilling, and in week 3, no one has called yet.
VA Tallahassee Outpatient Clinic - Tallahassee Kristy Clark-Doskocil: The PCP that I have has said multiple things incorrectly in regards to my health records, previous surgeries and medicine. I have contacted the VA Advocate about these issues and my concerns and the Advocate forwards them to the clinic instead of sending me to somewhere that can actually help resolve my issues. The next place to contact will be the congressman.
TMH Physician Partners - Services by Southern Medical Group, P.A. - Tallahassee Erin S: Drs. are good but customer service is terrible. Every time I call, Im "caller number 27" or more, and theres no call-back option. Ive been trying to get an email to join the portal for 6 months and cant get any resolution. They just keep saying, "You should get an email." But when I dont, nobody is there to help, which makes communication with the provider more than difficult, despite numerous chronic conditions that need to be coordinated with other providers. I even emailed TMH to ask IT to get in touch and provide some assistance. I havent heard from anyone. Very disappointed. Seems communication is not a priority for this practice.
TMH Physician Partners - Cancer & Hematology - Tallahassee Jenaya Murray: I’ve been there before multiple times and never had an issue but today was just not a great experience. I went in last week for labs and apparently the system had changed so I had to wait almost 2.5 hours (I was patient and understanding) I came back today for my appointment, and was told my labs were thrown out and I needed to do them again. Again, I was patient and understanding however my 10 month old baby was not, as any baby would after being there for approximately 1.5 hours at this point. As he was whining one of the lab staff members came and tried to take my stroller and ride the baby around. I asked her nicely to keep him by me as he’s not used to being around people. She tried to tug on the stroller with me until I got full control of it and rolled it in. After a few minutes of waiting my baby wanted to sit on my lap . I let him and after the woman put the needle in my arm, where I couldn’t move, another woman came and snatched my baby out my arm. When I asked for my baby back, she turned him away from me and said “he’s fine!” Even though he was SCREAMING louder . I never felt so helpless and uncomfortable since I couldn’t even get up or take my baby back. The amount of staff members who came and got close to his face and even touched my baby without asking permission was beyond belief. No one should feel comfortable touching anyone else’s child without permission. And no one should refuse to return a baby to their mother when asked. I’m beyond upset and frustrated with the experience today.
Tallahassee Primary Care Associates - Tallahassee Nicole Lowery: Their lab is fantastic. Quick, efficient, awesome. My physician experience wasn’t great. It took me forever to find a primary care provider when I moved to Tallahassee. I finally got in at TPCA and every doctor visit I had, I was there 1-1.5 hrs watching my doctor “google” my symptoms, look up labs, etc. never remembered my chart when I came in for follow-ups. That provider abruptly left the practice and I had to start my physician search all over again. I thought it would be easy to be transferred to another provider but it was a horrific experience. You have to call each individual provider and see if they are accepting new patients. Finally was told I could transfer to another physician, they just needed to review my chart- I was denied because I “wasn’t a good match”. I’m not complicated at all. I needed two maintenance meds refilled, no serious medical issues, healthy weight… no idea what I needed to do to be a “good fit”. Emailed admin to express my frustration and no response. No problem leaving TPCA, although I truly miss their lab folks!
North Florida Womens Care - Tallahassee Sarah EM: At first I really liked this office. My last visit was actually a couple years ago. I went in with hormone issues. I described all of my symptoms and what I was feeling and what I thought it could be. I asked for bloodwork. She literally looked at me and said " I can look at you and tell nothing is wrong" while shaking her head no. Said if it was hormones I would have a mustache. Now I am having hormone issues that could have been helped if she had just listened. Always get a second opinion!!!
TMH Physician Partners - Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep - Tallahassee S L: The TMH Physician Partners managed practice has a patient communication system that relies on a message service-based system with little to no timely follow-up by staff. But billing you promptly is not an issue whatsoever. This place needs a top-to-bottom evaluation of its patient communications management to improve. Excellent physicians are here, but this practice is overly large and poorly managed regarding patient communication; patient care goals are secondary in day-to-day operations. I was an established patient, and yet I struggled to get an appointment (4 calls), leave messages, and even call a”through their “hospital or doctor” line and still received an automated message prompting me to leave a recorded message.
Tallahassee Memorial Bixler Trauma & Emergency Center - Tallahassee alexis chenevert: If I could do 0, I would. This place had me sitting for 6 hours, never got a room. Never spoke with a doctor, PA or Nurse practitioner. I was handed discharge papers with NO type of prognosis, or my results. The lady who handed me the papers didnt even correctly read what was typed?! When I asked for the doctor, they asked which room I was in to which I let them know I was never placed. Even the front desk was confused as to why i never got placed in a room, especially with my ongoing pains. When the charge nurse came to talk to me she was also no help and had no clue why I was never placed. The front desk let me know this hospital is racist towards people and choose who they want to help. The doctor kept bringing up excuses as to why he wouldn’t see me. The nurses were too busy socializing to even care about the paients i.e. and many others. The most helpful people were the front desk personnel, transporter and the ultrasound tech. This place needs to close its doors or find better workers because this has been the worst experience in my 22 years of life. I will be filing complaints.
Florida First Psychiatry Specialist - Tallahassee Kylie Robinson: Florida First Psychiatry Specialist is not good at all. You cannot ever get a hold of someone at the desk and even when you leave 3 messages they still will not call you back. I do not think they care about their patients. I was about to run out of my medication and so my pharmacy sent thing a thing for another refill. The pharmacy called me to tell me they still havent received anything from Florida first. So I called no answer. If you care about your patients call them back, I shouldnt have to worry about that and I should not have to take time out of my day and go to the office. I was highly disappointed in this office. I am shocked that they are still even in business.I dont recommend this place to anyone. Then they had audacity to send me a letter dropping me when I damn sure dropped them. Learn to take care for your patients and needs
