Anthony Cornett: I brought in my car to Castros. It is in need of work in several areas. I explained to the Catros my apprehension with mechanics and if they did good work at an affordable price there would be much more work to be done and a great customer mechanic relationship built. The first thing I had them fix was a fuel gauge sending unit. I told them it was damaged on a prior repair and ask for them to replace it. They charged me $100. After repair, and driving, the fuel gauge remained on Full after over 150 miles. I knew something was wrong. I returned to their shop. I asked if the sending unit they replaced could be returned and replaced, the one they put in is bad. He said he did not replace the sending unit (as I requested). He "fixed" the current deficient sending unit. Not fixed. When I asked if I would be recharged labor for them putting in a new sending unit (as I requested upon repair), they stated "yes." To which I stated I was done dealing with them. They also did not provide a receipt for the work they did, I had to return to get one, which is useless now. I would not recommend utilizing these mechanics unless you get everything you expect in writing before work is started.

Debra Rosen: We recently made a trip from Wisconsin to Florida. We experienced some issues and found our cars inner cv joint, and the front passenger wheel bearing needed replacing. The shop that replaced these parts recommended having an alignment before heading back to Wisconsin. We asked for their suggestion, and they recommended Parkway Tire. I made an appointment online the night before, and upon arrival, it wasnt showing up. They took our info and car keys and got us entered in the system. When we were called to the desk, I thought they had a question. Imagine our surprise at being told that the alignment was done. They also went even further as to let us know that in the future well want the rear tie rods replaced as they are rusted on so we wont be able to have the wheels aligned in the rear until they are replaced, but they dont currently need adjusting as theyre aligned!

Melissa Kunzer: We were told theyd look at the vehicle at 8am. By 10:30am they claimed they were just pulling it in. By 12:15pm the mechanic was at lunch. By 1:30pm they still had not started the diagnostics. We had explained that we were without a vehicle. We even had to arrange for Uber transportation to and from. And they did nothing. Extremely livid with the lack of communication and customer service. Continuously put off. Will reserve further judgment and update for completion of services. I do appreciate further explanation that was received after continued conversation.

Jennys Road: What an absolute gem this place is. I was referred by Carvana for issues discovered on delivery and for a general check of the car. Unfortunately, they don’t work on German vehicles so I will have to go to the dealership if I need actual work done, but they were still able to help me out with my tires. I appreciate how honest and direct they were with me with regard to what they could and couldn’t do and how kindly put me at ease with my purchase, a good one (even though it’s a Volkswagen). So I’m going to get new tires with them and if ever I buy an American vehicle again, this is the only place I would take it. If you’re looking for an honest establishment and knowledgeable folks who aren’t here just to make a buck, you’ve found it. Don’t hesitate to give them a call. If they can help you, they surely will, and if they can’t, they won’t waste your time.
