5 /5 Ellen Chaffin: A lovely small rescue park for birds and reptiles. We watched a helper feed one of the eagles. The birds were accessible to watch quite closely. Turtles, frogs and some snakes. There is a nice walking trail which we took for a bit but it got too warm for us. Everyone was kind and it was free admission, perfect for a place to spend a few hours.

5 /5 Raven Sunkiller: Absolutely gorgeous FREE park with clean well kept walkways, play area for kids of all ages, a plethora of turtles, raptors who can’t live freely due to injury, and picnic areas. Spend an hour or spend the day - this is a gem!

5 /5 Heidi Freemark: My kids love the animals there, especially feeding the turtles. I like that you get a bit of a backstory on the rescued animals. The little playground is nice and the boardwalk is a nice little walk.

5 /5 Brandie Willson: So many turtles!! We love coming here to walk around on the boardwalks and trails. There is a park with a zip line that the kids love. There are a bunch of rescue birds that you can see and there are so many turtles that love to be fed!

Heritage Village - Largo Para Un Tiempo Como Este Rosaly Guzman: Today I confirmed that time travel is possible! We entered to the Heritage village and were witness of it. Beautiful houses and buildings resembling a old American community. Lovely details, well appointed. Free entrance and parking, easy access.

John R. Bonner Nature Park - Largo Tracy 译丹 Hu: Although the park is small, it provides a quiet natural environment. There are paved paths and a 460-foot-long plank road in the park, which runs through the mangrove swamp and extends to the viewing platform of the Intracoastal Waterway. Standing on the platform, you can enjoy the open water scenery. Common water birds include egrets (such as great white egrets, green egrets), gulls, shore birds and water ducks.

Pet friendly, with a dog park and plenty of places to walk your dog and let them explore while you get your exercise! Has a playground, restrooms and plenty of places to walk around and enjoy nature.

Palm Garden - Largo Jennifer Mahana: If you love gardening this is the place for you! Come check out all the fun stuff that grows in FL I cant wait to go back in spring and summer. Cute little gators too!

Splash Harbour Water Park - Indian Rocks Beach Candy Bailey-Gray: What a great place to spend the day with your children of any age. Small enough to feel safe to let your kids roam around and have fun but big enough to have fun all day!!! Price is pretty reasonable!! I live in the area and will definitely go back with all of our family and friend visitors.

John S. Taylor Park - Largo perc powell: Nice park. Quite large and lots of shade trees. The lake worries me with kids or pets. Any lake that large in Florida has to have gators?

Indian Rocks Beach Nature Preserve - Indian Rocks Beach William Williams: Although I visited around 4:00 pm and wasnt sure if I would find much activity on the water I was able to watch numerous striped mullets jumping. Also, I captured slow motion video of a pelican enjoying diving for several of the mullets. Theres also a very nice dog park and playground before going out on the boardwalk.

Butterfly Garden - Largo Kaydee: The butterfly garden was a fun FREE activity that my family and I enjoyed. We were able to walk through the tropical fruit garden and see the various fruits in bloom. My favorite was the butterfly garden and seeing the variety of butterflies. There was a playground for the kids to enjoy although I think they really enjoyed being able to see the turtles sun bathing more.

Tiki Gardens - Indian Shores Beach Access - Indian Shores Mariellen T.: Excellent historical area dedicated to the Native Americans of Indian Shores! Ample parking, as well as restrooms, washing station (beach side), and great location. Must pay to park.
