1 /5 Shay Santiago: I debated on leaving a review for this place or not, UNTIL I read reviews that I was able to relate to. I came into the store looking for hair products for my daughter. The minute I walked in I felt as if I was being watched, idk, discriminated against maybe? The lady, I believed to be the owner watched me the entire time and treated me as if I was going to steal items and I honestly felt uncomfortable. Never coming to this store again, I will not be recommending to anyone either.

1 /5 Siera: I moved to Sanford 2-3 years ago and began going to Ginas as my local hair supply store. After going here for so long I wouldnt have expected what happened to me today. I went for a ponytail that she even attempted to help me look for. I had never had such an experience with Gina before. Once checking out I handed Gina a 20 and 10 dollar bills and had a remaining $2 to pay on my card. Gina pocketed the 10 and attempted to charge me $12 on my card. When I called her out, and as did multiple others watching the encounter to count her drawer or check cameras she didnt move an inch, only holding up the $20 and claiming that is what I gave her knowing that was false. At the end of it a nice gentleman paid the $32 that was owed allowing me to leave and a sweet lady even gave me my money back as a "Christmas present" she said. I hadnt even realized until after I got home that she never returned the $20 to me despite having another individual pay the total. Just before this interaction I overheard another woman in the store exclaiming to Ginas assistant how she felt uncomfortable being watched like she was stealing and that she was leaving. I underestimated Gina and figured as most do when they read her reviews and thought they misread the situation, as I viewed Ginas presence as help whenever she was approaching me. I thought wrong, as someone who cant fathom to lie and steal Gina put me in a situation to make it look like I was when at the end of the day she pocketed my $30 I gave her and had another man pay for the hair! As I said then, I wont be back and I hope this sits on her conscience. If I ever see the lady and gentleman that helped me, I can only hope to be in a better situation to give it back. If they see this post, I want to thank you so much for helping me and defending my integrity when you didnt know me.

1 /5 vanessa alexandraa: Gina stereotypes from the door & even has the audacity to stand next to you as you try to pick what product you are trying to purchase as if you are trying to steal. Does not even try to play it off. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Will never step foot in the door again.

1 /5 T Breezy: This lady Gina is the most disrespectful hair supply owner I have ever experienced. In California, there are beauty supply stores that have "tester" products out so you can see what youre getting. I thought thats what one of her lock gel hair products was because the top wasnt screwed on properly and when I did open the product it already had finger prints in it. So I jst assumed this was a tester product. Shes following you and eyeing you from the cameras she has set up around her disorganized shop. She accused me of opening other products and sticking my fingers in it. She said its because OF ME that the product is now contaminated. I let her know what I thought but she just doesnt care about respect, so the moment she started to talk down on me like I was stealing something I was ready to get loud. Shes a horrible owner and honestly anybody that actually enjoys this place arent good people either. Birds of a feather vibes. Never again!

Philosophie Salon & Beauty Collective - St. Augustine Brittany Call: I have finally found a salon I love! Its such an experience from the moment you walk in. Theres a little "living room" area in which you wait for your stylist while sipping on a hot coffee, sparkling water or a glass of wine, read a magazine, or peruse the products and wonder which one you should buy. Every stylist is great and has their own style. I normally see Jenna for a cut and highlight. Ive always walked out refreshed and feeling brand new! 10/10 would recommend!

Zā Salon - St. Augustine Rachel Coronado: Kelly is amazing! She found me the perfect "cherry coke" red hair color a while back and has helped me upkeep it perfectly! I always leave with my hair feeling and looking amazing! Shes also so welcoming and personable I love my appointments with her. Za salon is very nice and accommodating offering beverages and robes upon arrival.

The Look And Lifestyle Total Salon, L.L.C. - St. Augustine Cheyenne Sneyd: This salon is amazing! I had my hair done couple months ago and it went terribly wrong. Laura spent over 3 hours fixing my hair!! She is amazing and dod wonders!! Will never go anywhere else!!

Hotheads Hair Studio - St. Augustine Wilderwomyn: I had my hair cut with Skylar today for the first time and I was really impressed. She did a truly magnificent job! She is super knowledgeable, creative, kind, and gave me plenty of time and consideration. My hair is pretty damaged from the salt water and she had so many great suggestions for dealing with my particular issues. I highly, highly recommend her to anyone seeking quality work and an enjoyable experience.

Mimosas Hair Studio - St. Augustine D D: ******GO ANYWHERE ELSE***** SAVE YOUR HAIR!! I WENT IN AS A FIRST TIME CLIENT. Asked for touch up of my current balayage and came out looking like an 80s hair band singer vs a cheetah. My top hair was dyed BLACK, which bled into my highlighted hair turning it ORANGE! The bottom of my hair was also dyed BLACK!?! I was told she was going to darken it up a little to make it "blend" better. I mean, the salon was very dark, I had no idea what the color actually looked like until I got into my car. ALL MY HAIR STYLISTS KNOW YOU DONT DARKEN A BALAYAGE!!! I got home and my husband was shocked. He said I should go back. I was trying to give the stylist the benefit of the doubt so 2 hrs later, I text the stylist asking for advise since it was quite a bit darker than I was expecting. She said to wait and the color would fade... I wore my hair in a bun for 2 weeks I was so embarrassed walking around looking like a German shepherd! I messaged her again which she offered to try and fix but couldnt get me in for another 3 weeks!!?? What? I then contacted the owner. ANGELA. No help. Basically, did not offer help, nor a refund and stated that she "just rents the booths out" and "contact the stylist". WOW. As an owner?? Your reputation is worth this? OKAY. I went elsewhere, $200 LATER and 4 hours of stripping dye out of my hair it looked descent. I contacted THE OWNER asking for a refund since I paid so much to correct her stylist mistake and she said "Im on vacation for the next 2 weeks so ask the stylist for a refund" AM I IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE??? APPARENTLY ANGELA COULD CARE LESS ABOUT CLIENTS BEING PLEASED OR THE REPUTATION OF HER SHOP. PLEASE BEWARE. SAVE YOUR HAIR AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! These people know nothing about business, nothing about owning mistakes and nothing about accountability.
