5 /5 Brian & Nicole Love: Golden Sands Beach offers plenty of parking, making it easily accessible and seemingly popular. However, the extensive list of restrictions—no pets, glass, fishing, boating, surfing, alcohol, or scuba diving—leaves limited options for activities. It seems the primary focus here is to sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery.
At the end of the boardwalk, I noticed two people fishing despite the rules, suggesting enforcement might be inconsistent. On the bright side, the beach features a modern, inviting playground tucked away nearby, which is great for kids.
The beach is exceptionally clean and includes nice outdoor showers and a lifeguard station, reinforcing its family-friendly vibe. While it’s perfect for those seeking a calm, safe atmosphere, the restrictions might disappoint visitors looking for more action.
