Her salon space is beautiful, open and bright, and her attention to detail is what makes me return to her time and time again for my haircut and styling needs. She always places the customer first and tries hard to make our visits relaxing and enjoyable. I love our sessions together! I recommend her for both Men and Women (she cuts my wifes hair as well).

5 /5 Sara Bloomberg: Monica is the angel of appearance, the wizard of wishes, the stylist who gets you to where you thought you would never be! Monica is a gift to the senses. She starts with an olfactory scenting ritual, she wafts luxurious oils around you and then gives a strong shoulder and head massage which relaxes and open you up to the present possibilities. Then she begins her artistry; she washes, cuts, colors, steps back, trims (with a different set of scissors- she has so many they seem to come out of nowhere) and she creates such incredible beauty. She listens to what I want and then takes it ten steps further and I’m always amazed at what I see reflected in the mirror. Monica is always willing to entertain my wishes for my locks and she always surprises me! She’s a gift! Not to mention the music she plays always suits my mood AND the new salon is peaceful and pretty with teas and coffees and snacks. But the main star of the show is Monica, her attention to detail, her acceptance of anyone and everyone, (she’s queer friendly people!!!!)along with her compassion, humor and love. And her laugh. Oy vey she’s the balm to all our problems. If you haven’t been to Monica and you want to see a better version of yourself, pay her a visit you won’t be sad, you’ll be uplifted and happy and full of joy. I won’t go to anyone else when it comes to my hair. She was even the stylist for my wedding! As a local resident of st Augustine for years, Monica is a connector and always looking out for people. She is a local treasure and I’m so blessed to have her as a friend and hair dresser.
