I was very pleased with the end result and his prices are very reasonable. An added plus is people watching all who pass by the large front window as they shop along the boulevard. Francesca Guerrera Salon & Spa - Fort Lauderdale Anthony C: This place is fantastic from A-Z. From Patty running the front desk, Layla who’s washing hair, to Francesca always being pleasantly present…the whole crew there are great. This spot is so good I might even go even if they weren’t great at doing hair. With that said they are fantastic, I personally work with Sam who is a cut above from anyone else I’ve ever worked with. This place is highly recommended.

I had my hair cut here at the end of April and I realized that I never wrote my rave review that Ive been meaning to write, so Im correcting my oversight! My stylist Joe did an amazing job! I cant remember the last time Ive been so happy with the result. CurlPop - Fort Lauderdale Kirk gholson: Edit: This business owner accused me of threatening her and targeting her business. For the record, all Im seeking is a refund due to our trip being cancelled at the beginning of COVID at no fault of our own. The business refused to speak with me over the phone and instead only responds via Google reviews despite many attempts to have ONE phone conversation as Ive requested via text. The owner asked why I do this 5 years later? My answer is that I need to share my story of losing an expensive deposit during a pandemic where the owner refuses to this day to even have one conversation with me, because I want to prevent anyone else from giving this business their money thinking there was an owner or Management that they could speak to if there was some large issue that came up (anything). This is not one of those businesses. They took my money, refused to have a conversation with me and I will not be getting it back. Just think about that as you consider giving them your well earned money. Should they have a conversation with me to finally hear me out as to why I believe Im entitled my money back, that will be the time that I gain respect for them. Not too much to ask. Original review about my experience seeking a refund for a 2020 ppointment for my wife Raychel Coleman Gholson. We had to cancel due to our entire trip being cancelled due to covid. Multiple times Ive been texted back & called back by the business & team about getting a refund. Multiple times Ive been ghosted after being told a manager would have to approve the refund. Happy to delete this if this issue is resolved finally. I just texted again. The business makes me feel hopeless about getting help during tough times. Kirk

Hair with Flair Studio - Fort Lauderdale Natalie D: First let me start by saying, ARI IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I have super thin, fine hair so I am always nervous to get my hair cut because i dont have much hair to work with, even when it is long. After doing a lot of research, I found Ari with Hair With Flair Studio. I reached out to her and told her what I was looking for and what my concerns were. She responded immediately and offered to have me come in for a consultation first. I met with her that same day and we discussed options for my hair type. She was patient and took the time to listen to me and made me feel heard. I felt confident in what we were going to do with my hair. I made an appointment with her for the following day to actually get the haircut and all I can say is WOW! She started by washing my hair and gave the best scalp massage then started cutting my hair. She went slow and made sure I was happy with the length before continuing to cut. At the end, she styled it and showed me how to style it at home. I havent felt like my hair looked this pretty in a really long time. Ari helped make me feel more confident about my thinning hair. I will absolutely be going back to Ari when it is time for my next cut!

Jor Salon - Fort Lauderdale Dana Geddis: I’ve been going to Jor for years! Love his new location in the coral ridge mall, super convenient! It’s super easy to make appointments over the phone and they take walk in clients as well. Jor pays attention to deals and has a great team with him! Everyone is very kind, friendly and welcoming. He’s done some beautiful ashy blonde looks on me multiple times! I’ve gotten highlight services from Vanessa that were amazing as well! Definitely would recommend to book an appointment or check it out next time ur in coral ridge mall.

Natural Trendsetters - Fort Lauderdale April Clark: The worst place I have been to for my natural hair in my 43 years on this earth. So I seen this salon advertised on channel 7 for Black History Month. I decided to give them a chance because I haven’t had anyone touch my natural curly hair in eight years. The first time I went in trying to start a routine for my natural hair, I was told by the stylist Terri to just keep doing what I’m doing, which made no sense to me because I have natural curly hair. I wanted it to be more fuller. I want thicker and healthier hair of which she did not have any idea about that. I decided to give her a chance, she forgot to add a treatment to my hair. I also made an appointment for the following week to get a Bob glued into my hair being that I was going on a romantic getaway. The day of service I went and got my hair done and I kid you not three hours later I looked it like a Chia pet. I don’t know what she did to my natural hair. I had hair tracks falling out the whole time. I had to wear a hat, I stayed at the Ritz Carlton, all the photos I took I had a hat on. When I return back, I reached out to one of the owners. She told me that she could not give me back some of my money and she was going to speak with her partner regarding this situation. It is now November 1 and they have not reached out to me, I was also told that I was going to get a credit towards another service. I don’t know what she put in my hair. My hair has been falling out in clunks. I literally have a small fro. I am doing this review because I know how much, a person care about their natural hair and I cried for a whole month about losing my hair that I’ve been growing for over 15 years. If you, love your hair and you don’t want it to fall out. I advise you to go somewhere else and that’s my personal opinion

CurlybyYulia - Fort Lauderdale Adriana Peri: If I can give her 100 stars i would!! Yulia is someone with amazing experience and can figure out exactly what your hair needs. She listened to me on color, cut and how I wanted to style my hair. I just moved to the area and was determined to find someone who knew what they were doing with curls and I found her!
