5 /5 Myranda Bryan: Dr. Shields is great. Very caring and kind. Patient with my son and easy to share concerns with. This practice has gotten much better this year with many new doctors and providers. The office has always been nice but suffered from not having enough providers to see kids in a timely manner. That seems to have recently improved. I hope it continues.

5 /5 Alyssa Bayliff: Absolutely LOVED our experience. They got us in quick for an appointment and as a first time mom with a 1 month old, outings can be overwhelming. The nurses and front desk staff were SO beyond kind and helpful and overall I left their stress free. The pediatrician (Dr Shields *AMAZING*) and nurses really take the time to get to know you and your baby and I felt so cared for during our first visit. Would recommend them to absolutely anyone looking for a pediatrician office in Ormond Beach area.

They always are quick to see them if they are sick and I have never waited an extended amount of time after my appointment time to be seen. My daughters love Dr Halpern and he nurses. They make them feel comfortable and have them laughing. My daughters even like going to see them.

1 /5 olivbyrd: The moment you close the doors and not let patients in is the moment you lose them. We have an appointment at 1:30 pm, we came 10 mins early because why not? The doors are locked, a lady in front desk said something about the sign on the door, its freaking hot outside and they couldnt open the door and let us in and have us wait in the lounge area? I have NEVER been to a doctors office where they close the premises for lunch. Do you all go to lunch altogether? What happened to the receptionist? I see one in there just sitting but couldnt accommodate your patients? Are you serious? Do you expect me and my baby to stay outside in the heat and wait until you guys open? If this is a new thing your clinic does, let your patients know you will be closed at those times and dont ever schedule someone right at 1:30 pm then.

Dr. Sanjay S. Sastry, MD - Daytona Beach Christoper Y: Dr Sanjay Sastry is absolutely amazing! I’ve had great results from him & his entire caring team. I’m very blessed that my attorney recommended him & I was shocked to see how through other hospitals hadn’t seen my problems with my back but within 15 minutes of looking at the films he was able to pinpoint the location of the majority of my pain (which was difficult for me to do because It felt like it hurt from mid to lower back). I walked out of his office feeling much better & I’d highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with their back. He’s really amazing & has a great way of explaining your individual injury. Kudos Dr Sastry! Thanks for everything so far!

Halifax Health - Child & Adolescent Behavioral Services - Daytona Beach Ms. Janice: We’ve been here numerous times. I recommend you take a much further drive to a professional office. They treat the children having a crises here very poorly. They discriminate against low income parents- they will demand you pick up the child at that very moment or they’re opening a DCF CASE FOR NEGLECT. That’s a shame. Not everyone has a support system, not everyone can walk out of work. They also do NOT accept CUSTODIAL COURT ORDERS. “That’s a civil matter.” Again, take a much further drive if you care about the welfare of your loved one.

Conviva Senior Primary Care - Daytona Beach Mark Knowlton: This Conviva office on Beville Rd. is the best ever!! Everyone is friendly and courteous. Dr. Leuterio is the nicest and best doctor I have ever had. The lady at reception who I believe is the office manager is wonderful and efficient as is everyone in that office. Very professional and very good at what they do. THANKS SO MUCH!

Veterinary Emergency Center - South Daytona Nathan Mamula: On Friday, 3/7/25 around 11PM, we took our 10-month-old kitten, Coconut, to the ER due to frequent and small urination with blood. We called ahead to check the wait-time, to minimize his stress, and were advised to bring him in immediately. They informed us that all animals would be physically examined upon arrival, & depending on the severity of the ailment, would be placed in queue accordingly. True to their word, upon arrival, they immediately checked for urinary blockages (potentially very dangerous/life threatening) but informed us that there wasn’t one, thankfully! The front staff, especially Rhianna, was incredibly kind, eased our nerves, and offered us a private room with WiFi and streaming TV, as we waited for the doctor. She was very knowledgeable and checked on us often as we waited around 3 hours to see the doctor. The vet tech, Michael, provided excellent care, keeping us informed throughout our wait, as well, and elaborated on the doctor’s directives. Both Michael and Rihanna were very helpful in answering any questions we had. Due to a software glitch and Coconut’s eventual “spiciness” (on brand), they were unable to complete a urinalysis, and removed the charge from our bill. Based on a physical exam, Dr. Z’s diagnosis was likely Stress Cystitis, potentially due to recent stressors that included neutering, trips to/from clinics, & the high volume/chaos of bike week. Because there didn’t appear to be any urinary blockages, she recommended we take him back home to continue monitoring him where he’s comfortable. She also prescribed two different pain meds to relieve his discomfort and to help relax his urethra — which appear to have worked, as he’s now urinating normally and enjoying his medication-enhanced cartoons. VECEV operates on a triage basis, so wait times vary, but our visit took about three hours. The bill was reasonable, covering the after-hours exam and meds. While we hope to never need them again, we’d return in an emergency. Huge thanks to VECEV for their compassionate care of Coconut!

Halifax Health Wellness Center - Daytona Beach L J: Im extremely impressed with the Fitness Center at Halifax Hospital. Lynn the manager is an amazing asset to Halifax. Shes always willing to help and go the extra step. She is friendly, kind and very encouraging She never makes you feel like you are a bother. I was going to change insurance companies but it wouldnt have included this Fitness Center and because of that I decided to stay and not change my insurance, so I could stay at this Fitness Center because of the attention that youre given and the cleanlines of the gym. The staff is extremely friendly and the Fitness Center is very clean and always kept in an orderly fashion. Thanks to all, especially Lynn.

Volusia Medical Center - DeLand Kathy Cole: We have been going here for 6 yrs, The best NP they had was Tammy who we miss so very much. Then we had Ashley who was very nice and helpful now she is gone as well. I am waiting to see who they get to replace them. We have had no issues when we did have to see other doctors at any of their locations. It is also great that they have a location opened two days a week late evening hrs for working parents.

Coastal Mental Health Center - Daytona Beach Judy B: Been going here for years. Dr.s are great and take time to listen to patients concerns and are flexible on medication adjustments. While some are nice the majority of the office staff is absolute nightmare. You either cannot get them on the phone, leave messages and no call back, or they never send the link for your online appt, and then you’re told to reschedule. Also been hung up on frequently. Get told different things by different people depending on who you talk to. All of what I’m saying here has happened on multiple occasions. I would recommend searching for somewhere that makes it easier for you to get taken care of, because you cannot guarantee medication for every month as you cannot guarantee the office staff will be able to accommodate an appointment for you. Very hit or miss

Community Medical Center of West Volusia Florida - DeLand Shonna Montgomery: If I could give this place 0 stars I would. How are they even still practicing ? Very unprofessional & disorganized. Marcelo is very rude & insensitive. He does not know how to treat to or talk to patients. Nothing is up to date, building is not up to par, no AC. The assistants are incompetent, they give you the wrong lab work, there’s always one mix up or another. The only people who are good at their job here are Sherry & Libby. Throw the whole business away & let Sherry start an independent practice. Byeeee.
