3 /5 Julie Maglio: Dr. Barry who is an associate of Dr. Holbrook specifically told me that the fillings (9 of them) that she prescribed progressed beyond the enamel layer into the denton layer. She said once that happens, the decay can proceed rapidly to the root. I went to a new dentist since we are moving and he said that he would not have filled any of the spots that Dr. Barry prescribed. In evaluating the same dental xray, I asked him if they went into the denton and he said that they did not. He told me that if you keep proper dental hygiene then those spots may never have gotten any worse. Im not really sure who I can actually trust, and I feel terrible about possibly having had six fillings done unnecessarily. Dr. Barry is a very pleasant caring dentist, but her treatment plan was most likely a bit overly aggressive.

1 /5 Joan Lozier: i had my first appt. with Holbrook Dental on Dec 9th 2013, they told me to arrive at 10:40 to fill out some paperwork, i arrived at 10:35, filled out 1 sheet of paperwork in about 35 seconds, then sat for 20 min. until a man & a woman came in & they told her she had missed her appt. for 10:20 that morning, the dentist then came out & looked at me & then took the woman who was late for her appt. & left me sitting there, i went to the desk & asked exactly when was my appt., the woman said 11:00, i said will the dentist be running late now that she took that other woman, she said just 5 or 10 min. late; at 11:12 i got up & told the woman at the desk that i was leaving & left. I never heard from the office, never got a call to ask what happened. I was so shocked that they had had me come in over 20 min. early to fill out 1 sheet of paper & then no discussion or apology about this woman who came in just before my appt. & no followup phone call to discuss this. also, the smell in the office was making me sick since i walked in at 10:35, dont know what it was but was really glad to get out of there.
