    Victoria Vaden: This church is in the same network as our church in our home state. Knowing that, we decided to attend a service the first weekend that we moved here. We have been attending for over two years now. This church has become more than a “building of churchgoers,” because they are literally family. Being almost 20 hours from all of our family and friends, we are SO grateful to be part of this church. Everyone is very welcoming and you can “feel” the Spirit during each service. I can’t say enough good things about our experience in life groups, prayer partners, the Production team, and the pastors. If you haven’t attended, try attending on a Saturday, if you’re not used to “larger” churches. Get involved, and the church will seem even more personable.

The fact that there are so many places that muddy of the clear presentation of the gospel makes this church beyond refreshing. We have been in ministry ourselves for 26 years, and were away from home. While the word was good, the people were cold and indifferent to us as visitors. Not even one person spoke to us, welcomed us, or so much as said hello. I post this hoping that you will look into your hearts and ask yourselves if that is how you think Christ would treat visitors.

Personally I am seeing the heart of a church that follows God’s command to love one another; to pray and build each others up. I am blessed to have a spiritual family, team and friends that chase the love of God with all their might. They want to do it together, committed to what each one of them has been called for to glorify Jesus in all His splendor. It’s a beautiful season for all to treasure and protect. My prayer for us is to be strengthened in the knowledge of a God who is holy and mighty and that our lives reflect His character through our individual sanctification. So we remain steadfast through any circumstance that we face during all seasons of ministry; therefore we can testify and continuously see the goodness of God in our relationships, church and community. As Paul said “it is through my union with Jesus Christ, that I enjoy an enthusiasm and confidence in my ministry for God.”
