  • Paradise Dental Care: Jones Kendall DDS - Key West
Paradise Dental Care: Jones Kendall DDS
Terri Keller: Great dental experience! De Jones is very attentive and will try conservative treatment before taking any teeth! I was told I needed a tooth pulled and an implant when I got referred by an out of state dentist. I was expecting a ton of bad news. I walked out pain free from 2 teeth that were bothering me! It’s a wait and see, right now, but his approach and technique are unbelievable! This was the best dental experience in my life and I’m not a young chicken, lol!
Island Dental: Melvin H. Eaton DDS - Key West
Island Dental: Melvin H. Eaton DDS
Lashonya Shabenas: I wish I could give a negative zero! Let me start by saying, if you dont know an alternative to a medication that a patient is allergic to then you need to quit!! I was in severe pain and it was obvious the tooth needed a root canal and there was infection. Not rocket science. You shouldnt be asking the patient what you should do. Left with a numb mouth ( I had to tell you where to add more (Novocain) and nothing was fixed. I had to call my primary care to see what i could be prescribed in addition to the pharmacy. Get out is their!!
Dr. Winnie Lee, DDS - Key West
    Dr. Winnie Lee, DDS
Ea Ruth: Dr. Winnie was very accomodating with my busy schedule. She was also very patient answering all my questions and making me feel at ease. The appointment was pleasant and she discussed all my options and also gave me some additional information for further research. If you need specialized oral care then give Dr. Winnie a try!
Claude Harris DDS - Key West
    Claude Harris DDS
Faith Price: Dr. Harris checks all the boxes: he listens, he communicates, he uses the latest technology to improve patient experience (p.s. its lasers!), and he doesnt recommend/demand unnecessary procedures. He genuinely cares about getting patients precisely the care they need. Hes so encouraging and kind, I almost wish I had more issues with my teeth so I could go back more often. Almost!
DR. MARK GUTT - Key West
    DR. MARK GUTT
Rosemarie Donzanti: Dr. Gutt and Bonnie were very thorough, explained things clearly and were very prompt. Dr. Gutt is also looking into options for my issue, vs a “one and only solution”. I look forward to working with this team. .

    James N. Ong, D.M.D
Scappy II: This man saved my self esteem and future. For those that fear dentists, this is your place. You will not be coddled, but you will be in excellent care. Modern dentistry without traveling all over the place. Trust me when I tell you this is your place for a brand new you.
Dr. Ira Stone - Key West
    Dr. Ira Stone
Antony Vo: So far so good! I always think it’s a good sign when a surgeon doesn’t recommend surgery right away. Very easy consultation visit and paid a very acceptable fee. Hopefully I won’t need surgery at all! Thank you Dr. Stone.
Naval Medical Clinic - Key West
Dan Withers: While on active duty I had the misfortune of being seeing here by the dental staff. The "dentist" I was assigned to was the worst dentist Ive ever encountered. I had been seen by him a few times, each time he was pretty bad. The last time I got seen by him, I had a previous filling that had to be replaced. It was the most painful procedure Ive ever had. He tried three separate times to numb my jaw but was unable to, although he did manage to numb everything above my jaw and, my left eye, and my forehead. I sat there while he drilled and I told him numerous times I was in a lot of pain and he just kind of shrugged it off. Looking back I should have requested someone else come in and try to numb me for the rest of the procedure. So its two years later and I now have a cracked tooth on that exact tooth and I place the blame squarely on my dental care at this clinic. The active duty dont have much choice in their care and I feel their pain (literally). I also wrote an email complaining about this doctor but never heard back, so Im assuming hes still working there and torturing other people.
Michael S Gordon, DMD - Key West
Karen Stevens: “Abusive. Never again.” A quote from my Mom (70+) been to a lot of dentist and never again. Incompetent in sooo many ways. Had full dental implants didn’t have any pain medication…… didn’t put them in straight. And didn’t fix it. His license should be revoked. Implants are definitely not his specialty. Like my previous dentist recommended. Malpractice.
Endodontics Unlimited - Dr. Joel B. Slingbaum - Key West
Endodontics Unlimited - Dr. Joel B. Slingbaum
Rick Warner: Just finished a root canal with Dr. Slingbaum and it went very well. He is very professional and his staff is great too. Pain was minimal and I felt like I was in very good hands. He gladly accommodated a special request I made of him, and it was appreciated. In regards to the other review about the Dr not having a good bedside manner, he is definitely not a fluffy bunny kind of Doctor, but he is very professional. We all have to remember what Doctors and business owners have to go through with increasingly terrible patients/customers. We have as much of an obligation to be good patients as that have to provide good service. That said, I believe it is important to put dental patients at ease and Dentists should always keep that in mind, especially later in their careers.
