Stephenie Harp Island Dental did an amazing job. I was visiting from Atlanta and broke a temp crown on Sunday. They were able to see me right away on Monday AM and were able to get another temp crown placed on my tooth and have me back to enjoying my vacation again. They are polite and very good at what they do - and it was an absolutely reasonable price as well. Locals should definitely check them out! Thanks again, Island Dental staff!

They did the initial exam on my 6yo and found a mouthful of cavities and referred us to a specialist. Out of network for our insurance but still very reasonable.

Candon Criner I love my dentist! Dr. Eaton has the most calming presence and Aura of any dentist Ive ever had. He is the perfect dentist for people who are nervous to go to the dentist. Not only has he taken great care of my teeth He completely cured me of dental shame and dental anxiety. Chelsea is an awesome awesome dental hygienist. I like to see her about every 5 months because its just so pleasant to get together with her. She does a great job and I really enjoy her as a person. Island dental is warm and friendly And they do great work. I highly recommend them

Funny I understand you cannot give a number over the phone but the only number she said was 65k after saying you cant give any price over the phone . Lol so I guess I was expecting between ten thousand and maybe up to 30 k but saying it goes up to 65000 scared me away immediately LO.LI wish I could have done business with these guys.But Im not sure I trust them anymore.After this phone call . I guess having a report is important when you trust someone with a surgery this important. I wish she could have transferred me to a person that maybe could have handled the call a little better but hopefully, they do a good job for everyone else.I just didnt get a chance to take it that far . Personally my experience .....

Michael What an amazing team! Our daughter had an emergency dental issue and we were seen the same day! Our concerns were alleviated as soon as we walked in the door. The staff was caring and intent on finding a solution. The dentist came in and gave us a plan and we were able to walk out with her smile returned!

Christine Avillanoza ****BEWARE OF SNEAKY CHARGES**** Do not come here!! Shady business! Always came here for routine cleaning never paid anything as my insurance covers it. Then all of a sudden magically I have an 80 copay! Ask insurance about it, said they did a service that wasnt covered. Was never given this information beforehand or was asked if I wanted this service which I later found out was optional! They just come up with services that they can sneak in with your cleaning just to charge you and say its copay! Ridiculous! This office will also make you wait more than 30 mins of your scheduled appointment time! Have no consideration of other peoples time!

Gary Hegedus Dentist terrific. He gets 5 stars:Front end staff not so much. They always put you on hold and the morning receptionist disconnects the call when she puts you on hold. Corina Lopez Branch Moving to Key West I was daunted in finding a good dentist. I am SO HAPPY I came to Southernmost Smiles. Literally, every person on staff is so nice and professional & of course Dr. Weber is the BEST. I had some dental work that I’ve never needed before (since I took so long to bite the bullet & schedule) & they’ve been amazing every step of the way. My kids have a cleaning next month and I know they’ll be well taken care of. It feels great knowing my family will be in great hands !

Jim Harris I gotta say that having dental work completed at Southernmost Smiles was the most pleasant dental encounter I’ve ever had. I’m 76 years old and have had a lot of work done in my mouth, including 6 stand alone implants, so this is a qualified review. The staff, most notably Holly, were all very friendly and helpful. Dr. Weber was informative and congenial, explaining everything that was necessary for the extraction and implant placement. They were able to fit me into their busy schedule as I was just passing through, traveling on my boat. Dr. Spooner, who actually did the hands-on part, had the best technique I’ve ever encountered. His chair-side manor was impeccable and his work was efficient and as gentle as could be, given the circumstances. I would recommend Southernmost Smiles to my two daughters and that is the highest compliment I can offer.

James Boyle Dr. Weber is a wizard! Recently, he provided me with veneers and I was apprehensive of the way they would look and feel. Dr. Weber crafted them so precisely that the intricate details of my natural teeth are shown in the characteristic of the veneers. He takes the time to answer questions honestly and wants the patient to feel confident and satisfied with the results. With me, he has done just that. Mary Parsons Dr. Lee, welcomed me with a warm smile! I didnt have to wait too long and when I walked back into the cubicle I was greeted by her assistant, with a smile as well. They took some x-rays and did a few more test and Dr. Lee was very thorough with her exam and told me what procedures I needed to repair the tooth, she explained everything so I could understand which is very important to me. I recommend her highly. Dr. Lee has a beautiful view from her office.

Sugarloaf Sanctuary Dr Lee is a perfectionist. But what I like best is it isnt this big group. Dr Lee, her assistant and the patient are the ONLY ones in there. She gives you her entire attention. She books the appointments, does your insurance immediately, does absolutely everything. Therefore she is extremely timely. You go in, she does everything and you go, then the next person. Its not all these patients and hours in the chair. She has the most dentist certifications that Ive ever seen and handles absolutely everything calmly. She gives each patient her full care.

Eric Mahan Appointments with Dr Lee are always quick and to the point. Im never left waiting which helps me plan my day accordingly. Other dental offices are usually booked 4-6 months out, but I never have an issue with scheduling here. Highly recommended

Were Going There! Sam was awesome and a very experienced hygentist and cleaned my extensive dental work. They were able to squeeze me it as it would be some time before getting back to my regular dentist. I will return when I get back to this area. For know off to the Bahamas.

Tyler Sheff First off, Im a big scaredy cat when it comes to seeing the dentist. Right away I was impressed and completely relaxed by the vibe of the office the minute I arrived...totally chill Old Key West tropical vibe...not a stuffy dr office usually found elsewhere. The staff was polite, super qualified from the front desk to the doctor. The dentist did a quick and effortless tooth removal with ZERO pain felt, she was simply amazing! No cheesy upsells, just good old fashioned quality service with a smile.

Ty Guy I know we’re in Key West but wow this office is over priced! I was charged $30 for “mouth sterilizer”… she charges $30 for 1 oz of mouth wash lol! If you can afford those kind of up charges then go, she does great work and is very kind, but if you’re not a millionaire, you gotta look somewhere else with more realistic pricing.

Umida Kakharova Two years ago I had 2 wisdom teeth that were really bothering me. I was looking through Google reviews and found a dentist in midtown. I went there and got treatment plan for further treatment and cost of that treatment was about $7000. Removal of 2 wisdom teeth and 2-3 fillings with insurance coverage. I was told I had tartar and if I didnt get a cleaning (I had to pay about $400 for my upper left teeth, $400 for my lower left teeth, etc.) I would be toothless in my 30s. I was not planning to spend this much money. It was a disaster and scary. Then a friend of mine recommended Dr. James Ong to me. The staff was very professional and kind. Dr. James Ong removed my wisdom teeth, put in fillings, and I had amazing cleaning, fully covered with my insurance. The total bill was about $1500 (this was last August). I had a routine cleaning yesterday. There is a new super kind hygienist working there. I forgot to ask her name. But everything went smoothly and quickly. She was great. I highly recommend Dr. James Ong for your dental care. Save time, money, and your health!

James Boyle Innovative, progressive, honest, and trustworthy. Howe Orthodontics provided me with care that was exceptional and surpassed my expectations. My dental journey began several years ago. I had used a different brand of aligner and, due to the pandemic, my teeth did not follow the intended path. I looked to every orthodontist in the Keys but nobody would take my complex case until I met Dr. Howe. She suggested we use a new treatment that was unlike the other brands including Invisalign. This innovative technology could address my issues that they could not. And her aligner system did just that. It redefined clear aligner therapy. She was able to correct both my cant and the off-center orientation of my teeth. Invisalign could not do that according to every consultation I received leading up to my treatment with Dr. Howe. Her aligner treatment and the aligners she uses were extremely comfortable and less noticeable than other aligners like Invisalign. Most people did not realize I was under treatment. Dr. Howe also implemented virtual monitoring during my plan. This was new to me and one of the best aspects of my treatment. Each time I was due to change the aligner, I used the at-home virtual monitoring equipment she provided to capture my teeth position. The detail of the virtual monitoring was astounding. It showed my current bite, alignment, and more. The pictures were then sent to Dr. Howe who personally reviewed each snapshot. From there, she would provide me with feedback and direction through the app, including whether to progress to the next tray or hold for a few more days. The app that is used for virtual monitoring also permitted me to message Dr. Howe at any time with questions. Given my past experience, I was a very apprehensive patient and this provided me with peace of mind. Dr. Howe addressed my questions or concerns promptly, taking out any angst. As my treatment progressed, virtual monitoring saved all of the snapshots I had taken. This enabled me to use the See Progress feature which provided a slideshow video of my teeth shifted beginning with the first pictures taken via the app. I found this resource very beneficial. During this journey, Dr. Howe and her staff provided individualistic care. They were patient, kind, accommodating and truly invested in my progress. I have now completed my treatment and the results are remarkable. I recently came in contact with a stranger at the resort I work and we realized we had a mutual friend. She took a picture of us to send to our friend that I havent seen since Dr. Howe and I started treatment. Immediately, a text came through exclaiming, “YOUR TEETH LOOK STUNNING!” Thank you Howe Orthodontics for your knowledge, expertise, and willingness to use a program that others do not offer. Your treatment is so innovative and progressive and was the means that restored my confidence.

JENNY GALLEGOS We’re in town for a short time but needed an Ortho when my kid’s braces’ wire started poking her. I called Howe Ortho and they got her in within 90 minutes and she was in and out in no time at all. They even gave us Ortho wax if it should bother her again. Melissa Gortarez My first experience here was absolutely amazing. I called asking to get my two wisdom teeth taken out. They saw me same day, did X-rays and removed both teeth. I was in and out in 45 mins. I have virtually no pain 5 hours later. I am so happy with Dr Guzman and his whole team. I do not have dental insurance and paid cash prices. They were very affordable. I cannot recommend them enough. A++++

michael drago Extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with my 16,416$ USD , discolored rows with bottom row being brighter than the top row , one tooth on the top row isn’t the same tone as the rest , after making it known I was told that my satisfaction would be guaranteed. Hector Guzman wants to charge me 5,000$ more to fix what he couldn’t deliver. He blames the “Lab” for the difference in porcelain. Bad business!! Do not get any permanent work done here because they will find you accountable when he can’t deliver. Not worth the time or the money. They don’t have a Lab in office and out source their materials for procedures so they will have you in (Temporary teeth ) that shouldn’t be in your mouth longer than 2 weeks to wait at least a month just for the teeth to arrive . Meanwhile your teeth are sensitive and you can’t chew until further notice , the duration of the procedure is very unprofessional and suits their convenience financially while putting the patient in uncomfortable conditions . I will be taking full action and will keep everyone updated. Thank you

Faith Price Dr. Harris checks all the boxes: he listens, he communicates, he uses the latest technology to improve patient experience (p.s. its lasers!), and he doesnt recommend/demand unnecessary procedures. Terri Keller Great dental experience! De Jones is very attentive and will try conservative treatment before taking any teeth! I was told I needed a tooth pulled and an implant when I got referred by an out of state dentist. I was expecting a ton of bad news. I walked out pain free from 2 teeth that were bothering me! It’s a wait and see, right now, but his approach and technique are unbelievable! This was the best dental experience in my life and I’m not a young chicken, lol!

Wispy Warrior Best dentist in the history of all dentists. SO HONEST AND AMAZING. Never in my life have I left the dentist thinking wow, what a great filling. I couldnt help but rant and rave for an hour about how amazing the staff was even though I couldnt feel my face. I cracked my tooth so bad this morning I thought for sure I needed a crown, I had anxiety all day about how long it would be until I could fix it, how expensive it would be.. To my utter disbelief they fit me in the same day AND fixed it immediately with JUST A FILLING! Any other dentist would have said welp, you need a crown! And called it a day. But no, they were incredibly skilled, it was really comfortable, they were so kind, very fast, and actually affordable. I cant say enough how grateful I am.

Jeffrey Gregorie This is perhaps the best of the best. When I retired from being overseas for many years I needed to have major work done. After discussions which allowed me to choose options I have successfully completed having twenty plus crowns. The procedure was painless for the most part and the ability to feel comfortable with the staff helped a great deal. Rick Warner Just finished a root canal with Dr. Slingbaum and it went very well. He is very professional and his staff is great too. Pain was minimal and I felt like I was in very good hands. He gladly accommodated a special request I made of him, and it was appreciated. In regards to the other review about the Dr not having a good bedside manner, he is definitely not a fluffy bunny kind of Doctor, but he is very professional. We all have to remember what Doctors and business owners have to go through with increasingly terrible patients/customers. We have as much of an obligation to be good patients as that have to provide good service. That said, I believe it is important to put dental patients at ease and Dentists should always keep that in mind, especially later in their careers.

Paulette Alden I had a root canal done by Dr. Slingbaum yesterday and Im happy to report it went smoothly. Im very pleased with the whole experience, from Lisa who was so helpful in scheduling, to Sharon who was Dr. Ss assistant during the procedure, to Dr. Slingbaum himself. He answered my questions, I felt confident that he knew what he was doing, and today Im relieved the root canal was not a torturous deal; instead, I never felt any pain (except for the x-ray plates that are too big from my mouth) and it all took about an hour and a half, and afterwards I went to the grocery store. Based on my experience I can definitely recommend Dr. Slingbaum.

Rachel Green This is the only endodontist in the Keys and he certainly takes advantage of it. The office doesnt accept any dental insurance and charges rates up to 3 times what is normal anywhere else. The endodontist himself doesnt actually live in the Keys. He flies in a few days a week and charges extravagant prices. As a full time resident of the Keys, I think its unethical to take advantage of the people who work and live in a small community that is lacking in options for dental care.

Eleonora Fernandez Poges I had braces for a long time and she took them before it was time. I asked for that but she didnt insisted telling me that it would affect my bite. Now my jaw is crooked. My face is crooked. Dont go. Also very unpersornal service.

Jane Reichardt I am extremely disappointed with their services. I was in Invisalign for over 4 years. My teeth are still very crooked and bite is worse than before. The last year in Invisalign I made minimal progress. It cost thousands of dollars and the outcome was poor. I missed my last appointment and never went back. I gave up. I visited two other orthodontist, and was recommended a new treatment plan of over $4000. I was also told I should have never been Invisalign and traditional braces would have been a better option. I do NOT RECOMMEND this orthodontist.

Sue the stew My family and I are down here on vacation and my daughters spring in her mouth came loose. I called Dr. Slingbaums office this morning at 9:30am and she said to come right on over. Within minutes, she had the spring back on and we were on our way. A complete vacation saver!!! Thank you to Dr. Slingbaum and her whole staff! They were all so accomodating and wonderful. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for orthodontic care for their children in Key West. Thanks again, Dr. Lisa!!

Lashonya Shabenas I wish I could give a negative zero! Let me start by saying, if you dont know an alternative to a medication that a patient is allergic to then you need to quit!! I was in severe pain and it was obvious the tooth needed a root canal and there was infection. Not rocket science. You shouldnt be asking the patient what you should do. Left with a numb mouth ( I had to tell you where to add more (Novocain) and nothing was fixed. I had to call my primary care to see what i could be prescribed in addition to the pharmacy. Get out is their!!

Glenn Ward Been going to Dr. Eaton for over 20 years, him and his staff have always been very nice and professional. Understand that he does see a lot of tourists from out of town, thus the few negative reviews. But I can say this, he and his other two dentists are always busy, the office is always full and yet even then he makes time to squeeze in emergency cases which I am extremely greatful.

Kristy Luberda Filling fell out in less than a week, touch up enamel was yellow compared to my teeth. Never went back to finish $2600 remaining bridge work in fear it would fall out too. Staff was friendly but the young dentist I got was very inexperienced. They are now suing me for bridge work they never completed. Bad experience.
