1 /5 Denise Weiss: I called and specifically requested someone with an expert level of knowledge with regards to highlights and/or color, as well as cutting. I also said I would like to book with Steve if he was available at the Pensacola location. Micalah ignored all of my requests and booked me with her since she answered the phone. She is clearly new and far from attaining the distinction as an expert. Steve corrected her a few times while he was there, but he left at least 2 hours before she was finished. I spent 5 1/2 hours in her chair. My hair was over processed...especially the bottom back where she started. I had not had any chemicals in my hair for 1 yr and 2 months. Correcting it is out of the question because it will only damage it further. After spending 5 1/2 hours in a salon, I would expect to be ready to for the red carpet. My hair looked awful when I left due to her applying multiple hair products that were too heavy for my hair type. It wasnt even styled when I left. I should not have been there longer than 2 1/2 hours. I actually had planned to do other things after that appointment that I had to cancel. I, the customer, am the one that now has to suffer through this as a result. I watched Steve and the other stylist work magic with 4 other customers that had highlights and a cut. She should have never booked me after I specifically inquired about booking Steve. Im not happy.
