I went in for a simple cleaning, which most offices rush you through like an automatic car wash (and about as gently), but they really took the time to make it a positive and comfortable experience. They listened to my concerns without passing judgement, and they educated me about potential future dental occurrences without trying to upsell me on products or services. Friendly admin staff, gentle and graceful hygienist, and a respectful doctor. I could not ask for more.

5 /5 DIANNE BLUE: Dr. Ortega and her team, are very professional and WONDERFUL! :) I had my new patient appointment last week and there’s nothing better than a gentle and genuinely caring dentist! Mary did a fantastic job cleaning the barnacles off! Lol ( I had some build up -being six months overdue) And now the dental floss slides through with ease again! I met my daughter for lunch today after her appointment with Dr Ortega this morning and she is also thrilled with the new bonding on her top front teeth , she kept smiling I am looking forward to getting some bonding done tomorrow and a new guard so I don’t keep grinding my teeth! Highly recommend!

5 /5 Emma Kingdom: Amazing dental practice , from the moment I walked into the office I felt at ease . Everyone was so friendly and kind and very Professional. Dr Ortega has an amazing bedside manner and really put me at ease. (I usually get a little anxious during dental visits ) My hygienist was very nice and gentle and my cleaning was a breeze. I would HIGHLY recommend DR Ortega and her staff. All round a positive experience .

Kimberly Flint: I feel so fortunate to have been referred to this practice by a friend who is also a dentist. My son developed a dental abscess after having a cavity filled by our now former pediatric dentist. It was not handled appropriately and we were given advice that was NOT the standard of care and could have jeopardized my son’s health. When they told me they were currently scheduling 8 months out and would let me know when they had a cancellation (on a first come first serve basis) to extract the infected tooth I was livid. When an established patient has a dental emergency, you don’t make them wait! I cannot explain how I breathed a sigh of relief when Dr. Miller agreed to see us. She was able to examine my son, take some x-rays and extract the tooth that day because the infection never would have cleared without having done that. She was competent and had an amazing bedside manner. Truly. The entire staff from receptionist to dental assistants were all absolutely lovely. We have found ourselves a new dental practice. I don’t even care that they’re out of network for us and we have to drive a bit to get there. Well worth the health and well-being of my children.

Love Carter “MssCarter29”: This was our first time visiting Winter Park Denitistry and we loved everything about it. From check in to check out we were greeted with smiles and kindness. They were super gentle with my 3 year old. He never said “ouch” or cried like at the last pediatric dentist in Ocoee. I prepared my son for this appointment by taking him with me to my dentist appointment a few days before. I explained to him that he will visit the dentist soon and will get to sit in the big chair. I’m sure this contributed to the joyful/no tears experience he had in Winter Park. If you are searching for a pediatric dentist. This is it!

Davey Jay: I took my son for an initial evaluation and waited two hours for his appointment with Dr Chen. I asked a couple of times how long it would be as he had a lesson scheduled for 2.5 hours after his appointment time, which he wound up missing due to how long we sat around. When we went back to the exam room, it was dirty. They tried to take x-rays of his teeth, but the equipment was too large for his mouth, which hurt and made him gag. We left before ever seeing the doctor. They apologized and we were told there would be no charge for the visit, yet they billed my insurance anyway, including for the evaluation by the doctor he never saw. Overall, pretty terrible. Also, note that if you are having a procedure done, it is visible by others walking to their exam rooms as the rooms have no doors. There are large monitors on the walls which face the hallway, so I was able to see the oral surgery of the gentleman who was called back before we were.
