1 /5 Erica Hay: Absolutely do not go here. Unfortunately, I had an issue and had to stop at the closest garage because I wasn’t sure what was wrong with my vehicle. Gave an estimate of over $10,000 And said the engine needed to be replaced. Took it to my normal garage and it’s a $600 repair. Update, they obviously know who we are because they immediately called my son-in-law asking him to take this down.

5 /5 Nicholas Lapinski: Just moved to Ocala and have been looking for a new mechanic.. I’m so happy I came across Krystal automotive, they were very professional and able to get me in right away. They did my oil change and I thought I needed my breaks done but after they inspected the breaks they let me know that I still had some life left on my pads and it was unnecessary to spend the extra money. A lot of other mechanics would have pushed for the job, but these people were very honest and that is hard to find these days. I will definitely be bringing my car back to them in the future.. Also their prices are great!

Doug Fleck: My friend of mine brought a vehicle there,an RV to get repaired. They told him that they charged by the hour. However, they didn’t tell the truth and the fact that every single time they touched an item they were charging a minimum charge of an hour. He had five different jobs that were literally five and 10 minute jobs and they charged him instead of a half hour for all the labor they charged him 10 times the amount. He had just had new rear brakes put on the vehicle and had them inspected a month before and only had put 200 miles on the vehicle and they charged him over $1000 for parts and labor for something that wasn’t needed also. Go there at your own risk! Make sure you get everything specifically in writing! Read all the rest of the bad reviews!

Andy Grosh: Kermits fixes cars that everyone else (including the dealer) say are not able to be fixed. He does amazing work with electronics in vehicles. This type of work isnt cheap (parts and equipment necessary for the job are expensive), but Kermits is less expensive than the dealer, and you know that your are getting treated fairly. Highly recommended.

Chad T Wilson: I blew the exhaust side of my turbo diesel on Friday. All my research point to North East Auto and Truck Service. Dropped it off Monday morning. We expected 5 days or more since all parts I destroyed had to come from the manufacturer. I planned for the following Monday and they were finished Thursday, ahead of prediction. They were very thorough and transparent with the initial inspection, detailed in the proposed scope of work that I approved in full, and honest regarding the damage ended up not as extensive as originally contemplated after they got into it and were able to perform closer inspections. Communication was great. The online system for quotes, proposal acceptance and payment was really easy and a must since I was on vacation in Ocala when this happened. AND I genuinely liked the three individuals I met at North East, Mike, Steve and Sally(?)Sara(?)Sue(?); it’s been a minute. Very pleased, would recommend North East to everyone excluding my enemies.
