1 /5 Alexandria Griffin: I’ve been living Palm Bay, FL for 6 years and have come to Magic Touch Dominican Hair Salon with my daughters at least twice a year. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter today, just as I usually would.
When we arrived for our 1:00 pm appointment, at 1:17 pm the hair dresser I was scheduled with advised me that I would need to comb out my daughter’s hair (see attached) or she would not do it because it was too tangled. This hair dresser had not even taken the time to actually touch my daughter’s hair before making the assumption that her hair was “too tangled” and not a curly, 3C grade of hair.
Every time she has come to this salon for her birthday, I’ve never been asked to comb or brush out her hair beforehand and I’ve never been treated with such disregard. I was able to schedule with another salon within minutes where I was NOT required to do a the hair dresser’s job for them. Moral of the story…. If you’re charging someone $80 to wash, deep condition and dry their hair, pre-brushing should not be a requirement for your service !!!
