1 /5 Rich Baker: Im not even sure where to begin. Its hard to believe just how sadly this establishment is run. My father was there for only 10 hours at the Skilled nursing facility. Upon intake and transport to his room he was asking where myself and my mom were at? The person and I use this term loesly informed him it wasnt her problem and she didnt care. Because she was going home soon. He was admitted for heart rehabilitation. How do you think his heart handled that? After my mom and I arrived he informed us of this. He passed away only 8 hours later. The nursing staff helped us get him settled. After we left we got a phone call at 4am the next morning, that he was unresponsive, 16 minutes later we were informed he had passed. It took several phone calls over 3 days to get the cause of death sent to the mortuary so the Coroner could release his body for cremation. After this we received a letter in the mail from this establishment hoping that his care was satisfactory and wishing him well with his recovery and advertising their newest nursing home if hed like to visit. Since then we have received a very large bill for a period of time after he had passed almost a month. Charging my father for the 12th through the 31st of March. He passed on the 21st of February. I called and have left several messages. I have only received 1 call back. Upon calling again I talked with someone in billing and was informed I would have to wait until Friday because their system was updating. Because it was the end of the month. If my mother would have paid this amount and I wouldnt have questioned it. She would have been out that amount of money. I have never dealt with a place so poorly run. And Im reallly very tired of hearing the empty apologies.
