5 /5 Mike Fiore: Unfortunately, I was Driving through Ocala when my truck broke down. It was after hours so I had the truck towed to Mullins. Jerry from OFD highly recommended them, said it was a great family business. I was greeted by Josh and Paul and they were excellent. Paul was very busy and backed up from being closed on Monday for memorial day. I explained the issues I had and he said he would try his best to get me back on the road today. Being unfamiliar with the area and staying at a hotel, Paul delivered fixing the truck before the end of the day. Very satisfied, I would highly recommend getting your car or truck repaired from the Professionals at Mullins. P.S. Dwayne, the owner came out to greet me and wish me happy and safe travels.Thanks again to all at Mullins.

Algenis morillo: "17 years in business, or better yet, 17 years scamming clients. I took my car in August to this person for a diagnosis. The man was very polite at first. He told me the problem was with the transmission and that he was going to work on it because the transmission needed to be reprogrammed, etc. He said the whole process, including labor, would cost $1,200, which I paid right away. Once I paid the money, the excuses began. Every week, there was something different causing delays, like delayed part deliveries, etc. When they finally called me to say the car was ready and I went to pick it up, he told me that he had added a new battery to the car and a couple of extras, all without my consent. He said I owed an additional $350 on top of the $1,200, which annoyed me, but I paid because I needed the car. They gave me the keys, and I drove the car home. The next morning, when I tried to start the car, it wouldnt turn on. I called the shop several times, but no one answered. When someone finally picked up, they said the owner wasnt there and would leave a message for him. The next day, I received an email saying that they couldn’t help me, that they don’t offer any kind of guarantee, that the owner had told me my car needed a new transmission, and that he had just taken a leap of faith with me. He said he was sorry, but he couldn’t guarantee the car would work well, and they wouldn’t help me with anything. An interesting detail: he couldn’t guarantee the repair of the car, but still took nearly $2,000. This doesnt end here; it gets more interesting. Several weeks later, I took my car to Audi in Gainesville, and they told me that the man never touched the transmission. All the seals were intact. The only thing he did was a manual reset, and that wasn’t the problem. Audi fixed the issue for $1,320, and the car is working perfectly now. The moral of the story: don’t take a chance with local businesses; take your car directly to the dealer, even if it costs more." RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE WHEN YOU CAN.

Doug Fleck: My friend of mine brought a vehicle there,an RV to get repaired. They told him that they charged by the hour. However, they didn’t tell the truth and the fact that every single time they touched an item they were charging a minimum charge of an hour. He had five different jobs that were literally five and 10 minute jobs and they charged him instead of a half hour for all the labor they charged him 10 times the amount. He had just had new rear brakes put on the vehicle and had them inspected a month before and only had put 200 miles on the vehicle and they charged him over $1000 for parts and labor for something that wasn’t needed also. Go there at your own risk! Make sure you get everything specifically in writing! Read all the rest of the bad reviews!

Andy Grosh: Kermits fixes cars that everyone else (including the dealer) say are not able to be fixed. He does amazing work with electronics in vehicles. This type of work isnt cheap (parts and equipment necessary for the job are expensive), but Kermits is less expensive than the dealer, and you know that your are getting treated fairly. Highly recommended.

Chad T Wilson: I blew the exhaust side of my turbo diesel on Friday. All my research point to North East Auto and Truck Service. Dropped it off Monday morning. We expected 5 days or more since all parts I destroyed had to come from the manufacturer. I planned for the following Monday and they were finished Thursday, ahead of prediction. They were very thorough and transparent with the initial inspection, detailed in the proposed scope of work that I approved in full, and honest regarding the damage ended up not as extensive as originally contemplated after they got into it and were able to perform closer inspections. Communication was great. The online system for quotes, proposal acceptance and payment was really easy and a must since I was on vacation in Ocala when this happened. AND I genuinely liked the three individuals I met at North East, Mike, Steve and Sally(?)Sara(?)Sue(?); it’s been a minute. Very pleased, would recommend North East to everyone excluding my enemies.
