5 /5 Rick Kazee: A few weeks ago I started getting check engine warnings on my 2008 diesel Sprinter conversion van (156000 miles). I had been taking my van to a local garage in St.Augustine, and while generally happy with their basic work, I wasnt as pleased with a major and expensive job they did for me just before my last big road trip. Anyway, thats not what this review is about. Recently my code reader indicated a variety of possible issues with the engine that were well above my pay grade. I asked a few truck driving friends about good diesel mechanics in the area and Near Fleet was one that came up more than once, so I made the appointment and took it in. I generally dont do reviews good or bad... people and businesses do their work, I pay them, and Im happy or not. I might tell a few friends if they ask but thats about it. On this occasion, I just felt that Kyle did such a super job diagnosing the issues, offering solutions, and getting the work done quickly and efficiently, that a public review was warranted. I really appreciated how he kept me informed on the progress of the work and all that was involved in the repair. And, as importantly, his pricing was transparent and more than reasonable. If you are looking for someone who I feel is honest, professional, personable, and fair, you couldnt do better than Kyle. Hes definitely earned my future business.

5 /5 John Jordan: I learned of Kyle by word of mouth and his reputation which is simply the best in the business. Never had I heard of a ranking system in the mechanic industry until I heard of Kyle’s accomplishments. To put it simply he finishes more in a week then others struggle to complete in 3, and if his focus / work ethic isn’t impressive enough his quality of work is reflected in how many vehicles return with issue that persisted after he does the repair. Give him a call and find out for yourself. With his knowledge and experience combined with an intense hyper focus, the man only knows one speed and that’s “get it done”

5 /5 Stan Ellis: A few months ago my Wife and I took a weekend trip to St Augustine. On the way home our truck broke down on the side of I-95. Being 4 hours from home, we had no choice but to find someone in the area to repair the truck. Fortunately, after an hour of searching we got in touch with Kyle at Nears Fleet Services. After towing the truck to his shop, he immediately started diagnosing to see if it was a quick fix and we could get back on the road. Unfortunately it wasn’t and the repairs were going to be extensive and costly. We left the truck with him, rented a car and headed back to Southwest Florida. The next morning I got a call from Kyle explaining he did some digging and found out the parts that failed were actually under an extended warranty by Dodge! He helped me connect with the local Dodge dealership and we sent the truck to be fixed, free of charge! Kyle’s honesty and integrity saved me over $8,000 in repair costs. I would highly recommend Nears Fleet Services.
