5 /5 Aidan Blust: Looking for a beautiful sunset with your pup? This is the place! Park right at the edge of town and walk right up. Between the White Powder Sand and Crystal Clear Water its picture perfect! We went on a weeknight and it cost $4.30 per hour to park. The beach was not crowded and plenty of parking to go around.

5 /5 Dani MCDonald: Quiet, beautiful, nice beach, not too crowded, dogs welcomed, and wasn’t too crazy! Walked the dogs up and down for about a mile, they enjoyed the water and breeze! Will defiantly come back again! Water felt nice too, all dogs we came across were very trained! Parking available prior to the north beach sign.

5 /5 Meghan Yorks: Parking was a fiasco to find. A few blocks from the entrance to this beach. Although it was quite a walk, we enjoyed the seclusion of being further down away from the madness. Waiting an hour to get over the bridge was not fun but worth it in the end. Loved the sand bar and the space between. May return during the week whne not so crazy.

5 /5 Kathy Rodriguez: This is a hidden gem. We had a bit of a challenge finding the access to the beach separate from the people beach, but it was a great area. Not crowded at all and the dogs loved it. Made lots of puppy friends and had a great splash in the water.

5 /5 McCabe Amy “Chaplain Amy”: Took my dog to the beach for the first time. Great wide flat stretch of beach with a sandbar. Lots of pups chilling with their peeps up towards the north end of the beach. Friendly dog people. Clear water (no pun intended) and tons of shells.

Honeymoon Island State Park - Dunedin Monique Roberts: This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. White sand, like powder. Once you get closer to the water a decent amount of shells, but they are beautiful. Once in the water there are rocks & coral in some places. Great snorkeling, colorful fish. Low key destination. $8 / car up to 8 people I think. Parking is great, there is more than one lot. There is a nature trail & center. Bring tons of sunscreen ! You will burn if you’re not diligent. I recommend stopping before you get to the park at Honeymoon Sail, rent a kayak, go over to the island or just swim for a bit, you will not regret it.

Winters Dolphin Tale Adventure - Clearwater Matthew Santagapita: Good spot for a 2 to 3 hour aquarium visit. If you havent seen the movie its probably wouldnt be as interesting of a place to visit.

Caladesi Island State Park - Dunedin Tiffany Oakes: Absolutely wonderful solo day trip. Took the ferry over from honeymoon Island and immediately regretted not aligning my time with the tides so that I could kayak the mangroves. A beautiful place to kayak, shell hunt, and observable wildlife. The dolphins are lovely and theres some cool fish. There is very little access to shade. Bring lots of sunscreen!

George C. McGough Nature Park - Largo Ellen Chaffin: A lovely small rescue park for birds and reptiles. We watched a helper feed one of the eagles. The birds were accessible to watch quite closely. Turtles, frogs and some snakes. There is a nice walking trail which we took for a bit but it got too warm for us. Everyone was kind and it was free admission, perfect for a place to spend a few hours.

Florida Botanical Gardens - Largo Tiffany Mosher: Beautiful walking trails, lots of places to rest, a couple drinking fountains, in case you forgot your water bottle like I did! I cant wait to bring my grandkids here to experience the discovery garden. And its free!

Largo Central Park - Largo Dennis J. Hostacky: Happy 30th Birthday. The park put on a great event. Games, music, food, and free haircuts from Hair Mechanix. Thanks to all the park volunteers who worked so hard to make this event a success.

Largo Central Park Nature Preserve - Largo Jennifer Zimmerman: First time here today and it was awesome. So much wildlife to see and a great walk. Long or short, sunny or shady.

Heritage Village - Largo Para Un Tiempo Como Este Rosaly Guzman: Today I confirmed that time travel is possible! We entered to the Heritage village and were witness of it. Beautiful houses and buildings resembling a old American community. Lovely details, well appointed. Free entrance and parking, easy access.

John R. Bonner Nature Park - Largo Tracy 译丹 Hu: Although the park is small, it provides a quiet natural environment. There are paved paths and a 460-foot-long plank road in the park, which runs through the mangrove swamp and extends to the viewing platform of the Intracoastal Waterway. Standing on the platform, you can enjoy the open water scenery. Common water birds include egrets (such as great white egrets, green egrets), gulls, shore birds and water ducks.

Eagle Lake Park - Largo B Diddy: Great walking trails, on path and off path. Beautiful lake views and plenty of picnic tables and places to sit along the path. Pet friendly, with a dog park and plenty of places to walk your dog and let them explore while you get your exercise! Has a playground, restrooms and plenty of places to walk around and enjoy nature.
