Medical Office Building, Tiffany - Port St. Lucie Mark-Anthony Edwards: I arrived at my appointed time of 8:00AM EST. My check-in was smooth, I had used the online check-in feature on My Chart. Within 5 minutes a nurse came and got me took me to my room and began the process of gathering my information and taking my vitals. I was very pleased with my doctor Berlie Placide as she took the time to listen to the reason as to why I was there...spoke with me about my concerns and made recommendations and gave poignant suggestions regarding my care. All in all a pleasant visit from an my provider....a welcomed change from prior not so pleasant experience.
Ellis Christian, MD - Fort Pierce Dr. John Douglas: I highly recommended Dr. Christian. Dr. Christian is a consummate professional, he has an incredibly friendly disposition and is an outstanding Cardiologist. His practice should serve as a benchmark of excellence for other practitioners in his field to follow. The Anley Cardiovascular staff (5 stars +) is top notch and highly skilled, the office operates extremely efficiently and patient appointments process on time and quickly. This doctor is the best of the best. I hope I do not need more surgeries, if I do, it will be at The Anley Cardiovascular Outpatient facility with Dr. Christian, Lori, Amanda et al.
MainStreet Family Care - Live Oak J: Went here for my kids school physicals and the staff was amazing! Far exceeded my expectations. Both of my kids got a lollipop, sticker, and a small toy after their appointment. The doctor was so nice and great with both kids. Wait time wasn’t bad, they had cartoons playing and kids toy in the waiting room along with lots of tissues and hand sanitizer. 100% would recommend.
Quest Diagnostics - Live Oak Sharon Barrowclough: Made an online appointment for bloodwork draw. Was seen promptly when I arrived and the draw was pain-free as the technician did a wonderful job. Everything was clean and in order and I felt very comfortable at this location.
Central Florida Inpatient Medicine - Lake Mary Ralph Drtina: Horrible in-patient care at Advent Health Winter Park. The MD failed to provide meds or check to see that thromboguards were in place. Then I received a follow up appt from a nurse (practitioner?) for which I was charged a full MD visit.
RMC-Main Unit - Lake Butler
AdventHealth Daytona Beach Emergency Room - Daytona Beach Jamie Janosz: Want to wait 9 hours to see a doctor? Go to the AdventHealth ER in Daytona Beach. In all my ER visits, this one was the most exhausting and frustrating. We arrived at 4:30 on a Wednesday afternoon with our 98-year-old mother in a wheelchair. The entire waiting room was filled and we were directed to an overflow area. To our dismay, we found out that a woman using an oxygen tank near us had been waiting since 12:30 pm. And there were other patients in the main waiting room who had been there before them!! That was a foreboding sign. The staff took people into triage quickly to evaluate them, and Advent was doing some tests while people were waiting, but hardly anyone was being called into the ER examination room, and the crowd continued to grow. They give you an app to tell time that was worthless. People were threatening to leave. The wait continued: 4 hours. 6 hours. 8 hours. More. The oxygen tank woman started gasping and needed a completely new tank because it ran out. Our 98-year-old was struggling to not fall out of a huge wheelchair not meant for her frail body. They offered warm blankets, but people did not have food, water, treatment, or beds. It wasnt until almost 10 pm that the oxygen tank woman was taken back to be seen. 10 HOURS of waiting. Utterly Ridiculous. The front desk staff was kind but completely unhelpful. They explained that they are understaffed and overcrowded. When we finally did go back to the exam room at almost 11 (6-hour wait), there were beds in the halls. The ER staff doctor and nurses were kind and apologetic, but seemed tired and overwhelmed. Our loved one would not be moved to the hospital until morning. Something is wrong at ADVENT. Is anyone paying attention? We will definitely be forced to look elsewhere next time.
Advent Memorial Hospital - Daytona Beach Joe Hunter: The best care Ive seen of any hospital. The way theyre set up should be nationwide. Exceptional care by the doctors and nurses. Having tablets in every room that keep you updated on everything is a great idea that should be nationwide.
Volusia County Medical Society - Daytona Beach
AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Daytona Beach - Daytona Beach Carly Whetstone: Doctor was over an hour late to my new patient appointment. Then I learned as I was checking out that the doctor is leaving the company next month anyways. They forgot to take my copay when I checked in, so they yelled at me halfway down the hall as I was leaving to come back. Staff were friendly but there seems to be terrible communication and organizational skills here. Took two hours there for what was a 15 minute appointment.
