5 /5 T Cook: Finding a new dentist and hygienist is always difficult for me for various reasons but finding my hygienist, Lisa, was a good deal for me. She is upfront with any recommendations or solutions and spends extra time when I need it and wakes me up when I fall asleep in her chair. In reference to Dr. Martin, he did one thing that many do not. Either my 1st or 2nd interaction with him, he actually took some extra time to address any of my concerns and questions regarding past and current dental care. I asked him to be honest and tell me when I actually need something done and if not now, when I should do it. Too many in the dental field want to suggest doing and getting everything done right now without understanding the persons circumstances or concerns. That is why now I can ask them "what, when, and how something will be done" and I will not question it. I have left dentists in the past who made suggestions that were about their bottom line and not about my actual dental health. Healthcare costs money so why not ask questions. That is why I will stay with Dr. Martins office; plus, the staff is helpful and gets to know me and everyone else.
